The description states "Kink Resistant", but it came pre-kinked. (see photo.) The hose was bent sharply at the strain relief. The strain relief was also bent. The kink left a mark on the hose at a critical spot- just next to the strain relief collar. I'm wondering if the hose is now compromised and will fail early. Two star deduction for this.Flexibility and size of the hose is typical of "hybrid" hoses.The connectors are nice- colored red, operate smoothly. The female quick connect accepts male fittings without having to pull the collar back.Includes a roll of thread-sealing tape, which I don't understand since this product is pre-assembled.

If I just want to air up my truck or Jeep tires, I'll use my hobbyist compressor with this lightweight 25-foot hose. No need to drag out my pancake compressor and 50 feet of hose. I'm not walking through a building where a 50-foot hose and 50-foot extension cord makes working with a nail gun lots easier. Hose seems ideal for inflation. Could use it in a pinch with my pancake compressor if I needed to. Comes with a roll of teflon tape airtight connections. Used to brass fittings. Have no experience with aluminum ones. Have not priced air hoses in a long time. Seems like a fair price for any kind of hose of this length, air or garden.

Reviewing FYPower hybrid air hose: I have been using air hoses with my compressor at home for many decades and have grown to appreciate a quality hose. What makes a quality hose? Couplers that work without leaking, strain relief at the coupler to avoid kinking and hose strain, flexibility over a wide temperature range, and a durable outer cover. This hose delivers it all. I have nine other hoses in my shop and the FYPower hose is the most flexible of all. The product listing is kind of ambiguous as to whether the hose comes with couplers installed (it does) or if you have to put them on yourself with the provided tape (you don’t, the tape is a bonus). I tested the couplers under 90psi with soapy water and there is no leakage. The receiving coupler is designed to snap onto a coupler inserted into it, you don’t have to pull back the release ring to make the connection which I have grown to like a lot. Some flexible hoses I have tend to pick up dirt as if flexibility makes them more receptive to dirt. I put this hose on a dirty shop floor, wiggled it around, and it came up almost clean and readily gave up anything that was stuck to it. I simply can’t find anything to fault with the hose and for the price it is hard to beat. I’m happy to add it to my compressor supplies and the next time I need a hose I will be looking at FYPower first!

I previously reviewed this hybrid hose in green. I use compressed air quite a bit around my home workshop and I’m always in need of air hoses of various lengths for different projects. This particular hybrid air hose is a really good compromise between length, weight, and handling. It lays flat on the shop floor without much coercion. I hope I never get to test the flexibility at the claimed -40F. The anodized aluminum Industrial fittings are much nicer than anticipated – solid connection with absolutely no leaks. The hose is flexible and lightweight. It resists kinking and is easy to use in the workshop. The included air fittings are well crimped and fitted my workshop hoses and adapters well with no air leaks. I am pleased with the performance of this air hose assembly and I can certainly recommend it. I think that this hose is good value for the price.

Amazing color and quality! I had one with a hole in it and man it feels good to have a nice clean great quality (8 out of 10) looking one. It’s nice and long. The gold tips are clean and sturdy. Very easy to unravel. It came with some tape as well. That was a nice surprise, Definitely recommend !
