I will say that this door handle looks very nice and feels sturdy and was very easy to install quickly even without checking the instructions-which I'm kinda bad about. The issues I have with it though, are that the screws are very cheap and just screwing it in caused them to almost strip. I also noticed that one of the handles was a bit scratched on the finish, not sure if that happened in shipping or if I did that installing it. It works for my purposes as a replacement for an old rusted knob in my garage, but if I were using this inside, I would worry about the longevity of the finish.

This is a very sturdy interior door handle with a high quality finish. The handle arrived free of scratches or defects, and all of the parts fit together properly and function as they should. Every screw needed for installation is included, including matching finish wood screws for a clean, professional look.One thing to note is that while the latch faceplate is square, the latch body underneath has rounded corners. If you're replacing an existing latch with a square mortise, you need to route the recess slightly deeper to accommodate the rounded portion. I have to give four stars instead of five because of the square latch plate, it makes routing the door recess more difficult, since routers usually do rounded corners and to get the square you have to use a chisel or similar.

Heavy weight door handle that gives a nice upgraded look. It has sleek lines and the square detailing sets it apart from the builder grade handles in our house. I liked the function of the push lock instead of twist. To unlock it from the inside simply pull the button or just turn the handle. It cones with a key to push into the hole on the outside which makes it easier than the builder grades wheb needjng to unlock. It took me about 10 minutes to swap this out and was very easy. My husband said it makes the door seem heavier as well when shutting it so you know it's actually shut now. The price was a little steep but it is worth it for the quality of the item.

I love the square shape of the door knob. I have acquired, not installed yet, a toilet tissue roll holder and a couple towel rack/hooks that mirror the lever style of this locking set. One would think they came as a set they are so similar. I have another door knob with a square base but the knob is round which I am okay with but not nearly as excited by as this lever style door knob.As I work at updating my bathroom I am tying black accents in to match the black stove top and granite countertop in my kitchen. I did it with my living room but that lock set needs to remain old style unless I get a new door. Lamp bases and table legs are square and mat black. A fake fireplace is a big black square like the stove.I remain a bit torn between the two knob styles. This lever type is likely easier with the bathroom and the other round knob could be for my main bedroom. Both have locks on them for privacy. The lever style often makes it easier for young ones to open and close a door. Knobs can be tough to turn with wet or small hands. An adult can easily use an elbow to open a lever style door knob. The little round and protruding locking knob on this sturdy lever door knob I hope the kids will not notice. We always have a rescue key on the door trim like all other households but I do not see one with this locking door knob and that is my biggest concern. I do not see one in the parts box and no mention of one in the installation page. The other style knob does have the rescue key. In this small ranch there is little reason to actually lock the bathroom door but young ones often do things out of curiosity. I wish this locking set had the rescue key; it certainly would make my decision easier. Not having a rescue key and full explanations of how to use the old style locking mechanism and a rescue key made my rating drop to four stars rather than my initial five star rating. If I find that that there is an alternative method besides a rescue key to get a child or older person out of my small bathroom I will update this review accordingly. I don’t have young children over frequently so it may not be a factor for me but it very well could be a stressful situation to someone else.
