Dusk to Dawn Light Bulbs

These are really nice bulbs but there are only 2 per package. I have become a big fan of dusk-to-dawn bulbs for our rental properties, especially on porches and entryways. Tenants are generally pretty good at remembering that a light exists, but not always quite as good at remembering to turn it on when they leave for the evening. These bulbs take that responsibility completely out of the equation. They automatically come on when it gets dark and shut themselves off in daylight. These are stellar lightbulbs that work in any fixture that isn't itself designed to have a sensor built in!The ST64 Edison shape is what makes these particularly attractive to me. A lot of automatic outdoor bulbs look purely functional, but these actually have some decorative appeal. The vintage filament style and 2700K soft white light create a warm glow that works nicely with porch fixtures, coastal homes, and vacation rentals where I want the exterior to feel welcoming rather than overly bright and commercial.The 60W equivalent output is also a good balance for an entryway or porch. With 600 lumens, they provide useful illumination without turning the front of the house into a floodlit interrogation room. I particularly like them in fixtures where the bulb is visible because the Edison design becomes part of the fixture rather than something you are trying to hide.For rental properties, these are an easy upgrade that requires almost no tenant involvement. Install the bulb, leave the switch on, and let the built-in sensor handle the rest. The two-pack is convenient for properties with matching fixtures, and I like keeping one extra around for maintenance. Anything that eliminates another item from the tenant's nightly checklist is a winner in my book.

They are pretty and work well. The only issue is they do not come on right at dusk and turn off at dawn, later for both, but they work and the light emitted is golden and very pretty. Makes our yard look very nice.I would recommend them.
