Magnetic Impact Socket Set

This is a great little set of impact sockets. Each one has an internal spring loaded magnet that retracts into the socket to maintain contact with the nut or bolt you are removing. Also great for starting nuts and bolts in hard to reach places. Especially with the addition of one or two of the extensions. The magnet does restrict the depth of the sockets, so they are not quite as deep as a deep socket. They are impact rated and come with some goodies. You get three extensions, a 3/8" to 1/4" adapter and a universal (or swivel) adapter. They come pre-organized on a block of foam with cutouts for all the pieces. Ready to be set into a rollaway drawer. The fit and finish is nice and there is color coded stripe that can help identify sockets that you are currently working with and have out. They fit fasteners well which will prevent rounding of the heads. I really don't have anything bad to say about this set. I think the price is reasonable, considering the quality. I would recommend these.

This set is very sturdy and looks good. It is well labeled. It has retractable magnets inside the sockets to hold bolts in place. There are lots of sizes. I like all the attachments and adapters. I really like the adapter for my impact driver. It’s a reasonable buy for the price.

Very strong magnet holds in this set, and the flexible/rotating connector piece is a nice bonus.I needed a new socket set, and happy to receive one that also has magnetic sockets.
