Hooking seamlessly into my existing Dewalt 20V battery ecosystem, the 25,000 RPM motor generates massive kinetic frequency, forcing thin-set mortar to collapse and create a perfect void-free bond under the heavy tiles. The 12-level adjustable vibration dial allows me to dial back the intense shaking when working with more fragile ceramic pieces. The oversized suction cup easily lifts massive 24x24 inch tiles without losing vacuum pressure. My one ergonomic critique relates to the handle vibration isolation. Because the motor pushes such high RPMs, the rigid plastic handle transfers a significant amount of that high-frequency vibration directly into my forearm. After a two-hour tiling session, even my 18-inch biceps and wrists felt slightly numb. I found wrapping the grip in thick silicone tape vastly improves the shock absorption. Other than that, it's a highly aggressive, industrial-grade masonry installation tool, made durable and at a value price. The listing makes the suction sound a little more high-tech than it really is. The suction is handled by a regular lever/clamp setup, while the electronic part is what creates the vibration.That said, it works really well and makes the job easier. The smaller suction head was good for grabbing regular tiles, and I could still use it on bigger tiles when needed. The different vibration settings were probably my favorite feature because I could dial it in depending on the tile and how much thinset I was working with. It fits DeWalt 20V batteries, but the battery is not included.

I am happy with this cordless vibrator for tile. I am installing a floor with oversized travertine tiles and ordered this to get the tiles level. This is much easier than trying to tap the times in place with a mallet. This tile vibration tool offers 12 speed settings from 8000 to 25000 RPM. We're prepping to retile a bathroom with large format wall tile, and I'd read that a vibration tool is essential for avoiding air pockets underneath the tile. Since this is wall tile, I can't rely on gravity or my own strength to set it properly, so having the right tool for the job felt important.I've ordered several other Ecarke tools in the past and have been happy with all of them—they're more affordable than the well-known name brands and, at least for our purposes, perform just as well. Like the other Ecarke tools we own, this one pairs perfectly with our existing DeWalt batteries.I haven't set tile with it yet, but I did put it to use pouring concrete into a silicone mold, and it worked fantastically. The vibration brought air bubbles to the surface almost instantly, and the finished piece—a plant pot—came out looking professionally made.I also experimented with the suction feature, which worked well and should make setting large format tile significantly easier when the time comes. Worth noting: highly textured or dimensional tile won't work well with suction, though that's probably intuitive to most users.The handle is comfortable to hold and easy to control via the on/off lever. I especially appreciate that there are multiple vibration levels to choose from—it made starting out feel much less intimidating, and I was able to adjust the intensity up or down as needed throughout the project.Overall, I expect this to be a genuinely helpful tool once we get to the tiling stage, and its versatility already suggests it'll be useful for plenty of other projects beyond that too.

My wife and I are remodeling our house and installing tile in each room. We have installed in half our house already but still have 8 different areas left to go. We honestly didn't know that this tool existed but this is going to save the day -- for sure.We already have several Ecarke tools and have been impressed with them and each works very well with our DeWalt batteries. So we were already confident that this would be a good tool.My wife and I split the tasks for our tiling projects. I will cut the tiles and she will lay them; however, she is tiny and she has chosen some 12x24 tiles to work with. While it is funny to see her try to maneuver a tile almost as big as her, lay it in place, pound her rubber hammer and then gently lean on the tiles to wiggle them in place -- I can see that it does get exhausting for her. This will help us so I can setup the tool on the tile and then she can easily pick up the tiles, put them in place, and also get them set. This will make the task of tiling a whole lot easier.It is fairly easy to use and we tried it out on a tile and she was super excited at how so much easier this is.Overall, we are totally happy we have this -- this is a life saver.

The Ecarke brand is pretty innovative in that they come out with a lot of interesting and useful tool designs, such as this cordless towel vibration tool that works well for larger format tile (over 24x24) and you need better adhesion onto mortar backing. But the problem is that their tools have always been of lightweight build and are clearly not meant for heavy commercial use. It may be useful for the occasional residential homeowner to do a one-off project.This is exactly the same situation.Standard Dewalt 20V max battery fits but it takes some jiggling to get into. The suction surface isn't thick or robust enough, works for very flat tile but mostly fails on anything with texture (which is now a VERY popular style choice). The ergonomics feel off as the carrying handle is really thin, not something reassuring when you are lifting very heavy tile into place. Genuinely no idea about durability, although it lasted us with 2 bathrooms for a single jobsite so far. We actually purchased other Ecarke tools that failed after prolonged use (2-3 days), and I'm hoping this won't be the next.

I'm someone who likes to take time and do a precise job. I wanted to try this tool because it's so hard to know if the tile is set properly and perfectly level without risers and spacers, which are one-time use and add considerable time to the job. My main concern is always setting time and the chance that work will need to be redone after the thin set has hardened.I have a big job with vintage marble tiles that can no longer be replaced, so getting it right the first time is more important than just the inconvenience of doing work twice. This tool is really cool! I started with the section of the floor that will be hidden under cabinets, to give myself room for error. But I didn't need it! Not only does the tool make them easy to maneuver into place--a big help due to the static electricity that makes them sort of sticky when stacked--but it also makes placement a snap. Just vibrate each tile in place with simple spacers and done. It only took about three tiles, just the very first section of the corner, to figure it out.My job is very large and it covers a fairly rough, old concrete floor. Covering it all with highly polished marble tile is a bold move, but I just couldn't justify the cost of pouring self-leveling concrete over the 4,000 square foot area.

I am currently in the middle of remodeling my entire house, so I am planning to install the same tiling in the other main bathroom. However, I vividly remember the labor-intensive process I had to go through to install the tiles, especially since I did not have any specialized tools for the job. So, the timing was perfect when I saw this tile vibration tool become available for review.And when buying power tools online, I always try to buy from well-established brands that have a proven track record because reliability makes a huge difference. I have many tools from newer, unknown brands that ended up not lasting very long. Luckily, I have already bought several products from the Ecarke brand, including a cordless car buffer and a few power inverters, which turned out to be great-quality items. And the brand has built a strong reputation over several years.One of the first things I liked about this tool was that it works with the DeWalt 20V batteries I already own. So, I did not need to buy another battery or keep track of a separate charger. And that is one feature that Ecarke is known for. The battery slid firmly into place and the tool had a really good feel and weight to it. It is not too heavy, but it feels durable and strong enough to handle the pressure and vibration.Even though I am still a few weeks away from tiling my bathroom, I already bought the tiles, so I was still able to test the tool. The suction cup attached firmly to the smooth surface, and after I locked the handle, I was able to lift and move the tile. Since it is expensive tile, I didn’t want to shake too hard to test out the suction. But I still shook it a bit, and never once did I feel it becoming loose. But I think the best feature is the vibration. Its level is displayed on the screen and can be adjusted through 12 settings. So, it lets you safely start on a lower setting and slowly increase it and work your way up.I cannot wait to start tiling in a few weeks because this tool is going to make installing them so much easier. It will help me lift and position the tiles and then settle them evenly into the mortar with the vibration. And it was very easy to understand and use. $50 is a great price for such a well-made tool, especially since Ecarke has a good reputation.
