I have been looking for bedside lamps for sometime and purchase this set of two ribbed texture, nightstands and couldn’t be happier. They are available in an off-white color or a grayish brown color and they’re both very stylish looking. The base is made from a high-quality ceramic with a with a ribbed textured finishand the lampshade is made of a nice linen. It does have a rotary switch to turn the lamps on and off. They are compatible with an E 26 baseball maximum 60 W and the bulbs are not included. These lamps will look beautiful in any room that you choose to place them in. Just under $80 for a set of two is a decent price point.

At first I was unsure of these lamps, when I noticed that the type of shade is that kind that comes with wire frames and you wrap the material around the frames, clip it on and fasten it with Velcro. I am accustomed to the classic style of shade, that is all cloth, stitched over the wire frame... and am still getting used to this kind. I thought that meant that the lamps themselves would be cheaply made. They are not.These lamps are actually a bit heavy, due to being thick ceramic. The pattern on the ceramic is very nice and looks well where I intended to use the lights. I used the standard, 40 watt bulbs in each lamp. With the shades, they still produce enough diffused light to give my living room the right amount of light, while not being overpowering.The lamps are easy to put together. Mainly what needs assembled are those shades and the shade holder. It took me all of 15 minutes to get them together and get them right. These lamps have the classic style of on/off knob, not a touch control (and I prefer it this way).These lamps truly add the perfect touch to my living room, and I am very pleased with them.Due to their good construction, ease of assembly, visual appeal and how they fit perfectly where I use them, I feel that they are worth the price.

These lamps are substantial, well-made, and elegant, even allowing for DIY lampshades, which are necessary if the lamps are to be shipped efficiently. The base lamps are indeed made of a substantial ceramic material, with the striations described being actually more golden color than beige. Make a note if you’re selecting for a neutral look that these will have more of a punch than you might expect. Not bad, simply much more than just beige.The lampshades, which come in a neutral linen color, are DIY – what I mean by that is at this price point, they are not shipped whole, but rather as strips of plastic with the linen texture on the outside, that the user or customer assembles around two wire frames.That means that they will have a visible seam that you will want to put towards the back, wherever you have placed the lamps.Still, the lampshades work well with the bases, and the effect overall is attractive and versatile. My place is transitional, funky, chic, Boho, sort of, and they fit right in. You will get good value for the money with this product.

These lamps are lovely. They have a sturdy-weight ceramic base with a matte finish. I really like the finish and the clear cords. The lamps give off a nice light. They are easy to assemble. Allow about ten to fifteen minutes including removing all the packaging. The shades were easy to put together. They came out perfect. The cords are a reasonable length. The only possible negative is that one of my lamps has a darker finish on the base than the other one. I will probably keep them in the same room but more separate rather than using as a pair in a symmetrical arrangement. Otherwise, they are great. I think they combine a more modern style with a natural finish, which makes for a fresh look. I have an older home and I think it helps to have some touches like this so that everything is not “old.” But these work beautifully with antique or vintage pieces, which I also have. Good quality, attractive lamps!
