This exhaust fan works great! It’s compact and quiet. Installation was straight forward - just had to cut out some drywall to get the old unit out, secured it to the ceiling joist, attached the vent hose, did the wiring and drywalled it in. The spring loaded cover slips nice and easy over the unit and gives it a great looking finish! The airflow is very effective and best of all quiet ! It’s a great fan and a great value!

If you enjoy taking a hot shower and emerging into a room so steamy your mirror doubles as a personal sauna—soundtracked by an old exhaust fan that rattles like a twin-engine plane preparing for takeoff—the Fitop 80 CFM Ultra Quiet Bathroom Exhaust Fan is going to ruin that vintage ambiance. At just 1.0 sones, it clears the air so quietly you will genuinely check twice to make sure it is actually running. The 80 CFM motor moves moisture out before mildew even thinks about setting up shop, and the room-side mount design means you can install it through the existing 7.3" × 7.6" ceiling opening without crawling through hot attic insulation like an action-movie spy.I recommend this product.

This bathroom exhaust fan does a great job of removing moisture and steam without creating the loud noise that older bathroom fans often make. The 80 CFM airflow is effective for a smaller to medium-size bathroom, and the 1.0-sone operation is pleasantly quiet. I noticed that the bathroom clears out faster after showers while the fan remains unobtrusive in the background. The compact ceiling-mounted design also gives the bathroom a clean, simple appearance. Installation was straightforward once the ceiling opening and duct size were confirmed, and the unit felt secure after mounting. I especially appreciate the balance between good ventilation and low noise because I can leave it running without the sound becoming annoying. Overall, this is a practical bathroom upgrade that provides effective moisture removal, quiet operation, and dependable everyday ventilation.

This is a nice compact exhaust fan, and one of the biggest advantages is that it can be installed without needing attic access. That's a huge benefit when replacing or adding a fan where getting above the ceiling isn't practical. At 80 CFM and only 1.0 sone, it provides a good combination of airflow without sounding like an airplane taking off every time you flip the switch. 😄The relatively small ceiling opening is also nice, particularly for replacement installations where you don't want to cut out a huge section of drywall.Overall, this looks like a well-designed ventilation fan that's especially appealing for retrofit projects. Quiet operation and no attic access required are the standout features for me. 👍🔧

The Fitop 80 CFM bathroom exhaust fan has been a solid upgrade for a bathroom that gets steamy during daily showers. With the fan running during a hot shower and left on for about 10 minutes afterward, moisture clears from the mirror much faster and the room does not stay humid for nearly as long.At 1.0 sones, the fan is quiet without being so silent that it is hard to tell whether it is running. There is a soft airflow sound, but it is easy to have a conversation or listen to music without the fan overpowering everything. That is a big improvement over older builder grade fans that often produce a rough motor hum and vibration while moving less air.The 80 CFM airflow feels well suited to a typical small or medium bathroom. It pulls steam out efficiently without sounding like an oversized commercial fan. Compared with basic 50 CFM models, this one clears shower humidity faster and is better at keeping the room comfortable when the door stays closed. Similar 80 CFM fans from larger brands can offer the same general airflow, but many cost more for features that are not necessary when the goal is simply good ventilation with low noise. The 7.3" × 7.6" ceiling opening is worth checking carefully before installation. For a replacement project, measuring the existing cutout ahead of time can save some extra ceiling work. Once installed, the fan does what it is supposed to do without adding unnecessary complexity. For the price, the combination of 80 CFM airflow and a 1.0 sone rating gives this fan good value. It is a practical choice for replacing an older noisy exhaust fan or improving ventilation in a bathroom where steam tends to linger.**Pros**1. Quiet 1.0 sone operation2. 80 CFM handles shower steam well3. Clears bathroom humidity quickly4. Less distracting than many older exhaust fans5. Good airflow for the price**Cons**1. Ceiling opening needs to be measured carefully before installation2. 80 CFM may not be enough for a very large bathroom3. Anyone wanting extra features such as lighting or humidity controls may prefer a different model

I’m very happy with this bathroom exhaust fan because it provides strong ventilation without the loud noise I’ve experienced with older fans. The 80 CFM airflow does a great job of clearing steam, humidity, and odors from my bathroom, while the 1.0-sone operation is impressively quiet and much more pleasant for everyday use. Installation was straightforward, and I especially appreciate that attic access isn’t required, which makes replacing an existing fan much less complicated. The galvanized steel housing feels sturdy and durable, and the 4-inch duct compatibility is convenient for a typical setup. I also like the built-in backdraft damper, which helps prevent outside air and dust from coming back into the room. The energy-efficient 23W motor runs smoothly and requires very little maintenance. Overall, this fan offers a great combination of quiet performance, durability, easy installation, and effective airflow, making it a valuable purchase and excellent value for the money.
