.The shade is mesh, which means the light shines through in every direction. The in-line on/off switch is REALLY close to the plug. It would be nice if it was on the light itself. Comes with an LED bulb, which is a nice touch, so I can be up and running as soon as I plug it in. I use it in my garage, as there are lots of spots that my LITTLE ceiling light doesn't light up. I can use other bulbs in this light if I want, as long as they're not strongerr than 10 watts. 6 watts is OK for now, but if I replace it, I need to know the maximum wattage this lighht can handle.The other thimg that I would love is, an outlet right on the light itself. (I'm actually looking for that for my bathroom, as I have no outlet in there.)

This is a light bulb is a really clunky wire mesh with lots of errors and burrs. The cord is very long so you can hang it near a wall outlet and plug it in. The light switch does work well. The light bulb is very badly made and loose, making it hard to actually screw a bulb full in so it can actually turn on. And the fact that it doesn't include any hardware to hang the light, and the clunky mesh itself makes it hard to actually make it hang properly. However, it is very cheap and I think it can be made to work with a lot of work.

This hanging pendant light is department store quality. I was surprised by how well made it was. the power cord is rugged yet flexible and it has a nice plug end that is very solidly connected to the cord with an inline switch box to turn it on and off with that is closer to the plug. the switch is well made and feels solid in your hand and has a satisfying click when you switch it on and off. The light itself is easy to assemble and required only putting the socket through the metal shade and twisting on the large locking nut. Then plug in your bulb and you are ready to go. It casts a nice light that lights up the corner of my Livingroom well and is a good soft light to have on at night when watching TV.

I absolutely love this pendant light! The black wire mesh shade gives it a modern industrial look that is simple but really stylish. The included LED filament bulb is nice and bright, and the open design of the shade allows the light to spread really well.The 9.8ft cord gives you plenty of flexibility for placement, and I especially like having the on/off switch right on the cord. Since it simply plugs in, there’s no complicated hardwiring needed, which makes installation incredibly easy.I used mine in the garage and it added both extra lighting and a little personality to the space. It would also look great in a bedroom, reading nook, patio, or workshop. Great quality, functional, and cute.

This pendant light is perfect for a reading light near your desk or bed. We placed this in my son's room so he can read at night before going to bed. I like the collapsible lamp shade design, and the chain mesh allows plenty of light from all angles. The only thing I would change is the location of the on/off switch. The one I received has the switch 16 inches from the plug. The picture in the ad shows the switch 3 feet from the plug, so maybe I received a bad one. Not a big deal, though as I just added a small extension cord so my son can reach the switch from his bed. I like that it came with an LED bulb. That was a nice touch. I've purchased much more expensive lights that don't come with bulbs.
