This smart circuit breaker is a solid choice for safeguarding household appliances or RV power systems from unpredictable electrical spikes. I was also highly impressed by the included instruction manual. It is written very clearly, making the process of adjusting the high/low cutoff thresholds and customizing the automatic reset delay completely stress-free. However, the internal relay produces a rather loud, sharp clicking noise whenever it cuts power or resets. It is a bit startling if mounted near living spaces. It functions perfectly and keeps electronics completely safe, but you might want to install it inside a garage or a distant distribution panel to avoid hearing the loud clicks.

While it's not a reliable stand alone continuous breaker, it's very beneficial to protect sensitive electric appliances from power surges and brown outs that won't cause a primary or upstream breaker to stop. The fire retardant solid PVC housing protects the more delicate internal relays that automatically restore current when supply stabilizes. The soft silicone buttons respond with a definite resistance so you know when you've activated them. The digital display is bright with large enough numbers that one doesn't need glasses to accurately read. The aluminum rail facilitates quick right to left installation and placement. With phillps' head set screws connection is as easy as sticking the wire in hole and turning a screw. In short, this is an easy to use downstream device to save costly electrical equipment.

I like that I can set the reconnection delay. For my fridge, I set it to 60 seconds so it doesn't cycle on and off rapidly after an outage. The instructions are decent, though I had to look up a couple of terms. Overall, a solid unit.

The housing feels sturdy and well made. Terminals accept up to decent gauge wire and tighten down securely. It hasn't gotten hot even when running near the rated current. Feels more durable than other protectors I've used.

For the price, it covers three protections in one device. I was about to buy separate relays for voltage and current, but this handles both. No complaints after a few weeks of use. Just make sure you wire the input and output correctly.
