I love the look of this vintage style vanity light. The gold and white is very pretty together, but I have all black bathroom fixtures so I ended up spray painting the hardware black. Also, even though the light is designed to be installed vertically, my situation required a horizontal installation. So my picture that I've included shows a pretty different option for styling this light. It was tricky to get the hardware off of the ends of the glass shades in order to paint it, and even harder to get it back on afterwards, but it worked out. Speaking of which, be sure to read the directions on this light before you start installing it! You have to tighten the hardware on the glass shades (gently so you don't break the glass). I found out the hard way that if you fail to tighten that up before screwing everything together, you will have a very very hard time taking the shades off again to install light bulbs. My only complaint about this light is that not all of the hardware is metal - the molded caps are plastic. But they still look and feel very authentic when it's installed.

I ordered this to mount over my bathroom vanity and have been very happy with it.First, I'm a huge fan of anything art deco, and this fixture truly fits the style of that period. The embossed back plate and milk glass finish really add an elegant feel to my bathroom. Quality itself is great. Both the fixture and the shades are heavy and well made with no damage or chipping when they arrived.Installation was very simple. The instructions are very straightforward and the base can be mounted directly to the wall. Keep in mind that it is pretty large (nearly 2 ft across) so it may be a good idea to measure before ordering. Bulbs aren't included so you'll also need standard candelabra bulbs.Overall, I have no complaints. It looks great in my bathroom and it's a reasonable price, so I'd definitely recommend it. 5 stars.

I have several other of these lights from a different seller and I love them. This one came in gold, so I was excited to get it. The gold is a bit bright or odd looking but once it's up you really don't think about it. The glass is very thick and well made. I am using it as a vanity light instead of a sconce but would not hesitate for any use. Much nicer quality than many online lights.
