Spacious, sturdy, and easy set upSpacious, sturdy, and easy set up

[Size: 5.2 CUFT, Size: 5.2 CUFT]
This is a great safe with tons of storage space inside. I really like having the option to open it with either the keypad or the key, so there’s always a backup way to get in. The keypad doesn't use batteries, rather it gets charged with a USB. The cord they sent is very short, which isn't the most convenient. The removable shelves are a nice feature and are easy to adjust or remove with the simple bolt-style screws. It also comes with the hardware needed to bolt the safe to the floor or wall, which is a big plus for added security. Overall, it feels sturdy, offers plenty of room, and has all the features I was looking for. Great value for the size!

[Size: 1.2 CUFT, Size: 1.2 CUFT]
I really like the balance this safe strikes between being sturdy and still being practical for regular use. It has some weight to it, which is reassuring, but it is not so heavy that moving it into a closet or setting it on a dresser becomes a huge project. The construction feels solid, and the locking bolts are substantial enough to give me confidence that it won't easily be broken into. There is also a surprising amount of usable space inside. For anyone looking for something to keep cash, jewelry, medicine, documents, or other valuables organized and accessible, the 1.2 cubic foot size makes a lot of sense. I could see this working especially well as an everyday access safe rather than something you open once every few years. One feature I particularly appreciate is having both the digital keypad and physical keys. I know battery powered locks are common now, but I do not always like relying entirely on electronics when something is supposed to protect my valuables. Having a key option gives me some extra peace of mind and makes this feel much more versatile.Overall, I think this is well made for the price. It feels sturdy, has good interior space, and gives you multiple ways to access it. If you want a reasonably sized safe that you can actually use regularly without spending a fortune, I think this is a very good value.Pros:• Sturdy construction with substantial locking bolts• Good amount of interior space• Digital keypad and physical key access• Heavy enough to feel secure without being unreasonable to move• Good value for the moneyCons:• It does have some weight to it, so it is not something I would want to move around constantlyI would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a practical home safe that offers both convenience and is good if you have little hands trying to touch your stuff like I do!

Nice little safe!

[Size: 1.2 CUFT]
This is a pretty nice little safe. Build quality is good, I found no major issues with the construction. Most of the weight of this thing is in the door, the rest of the box is really just sheet metal. The metal is decently thick though, and not flimsy at all. I kindof wish they didn't incorporate a key, as that makes it vulnerable to picking, though they did use a very uncommon key type that should at least be pick resistant. You can mount it to a wall or the floor, and they include some pretty heavy duty lag bolts that will make it difficult for someone to just walk off with it. The digital keypad works well, and I like that they did include a USB-C socket to power it in case the battery runs dead. It will take 3-8 digits for a passcode, and I'd fully recommend going with 8 to make it more difficult for someone to brute force guess the code (I'm thinking of curious kids with too much free time here). Unfortunately it didn't come with the stacks of cash and gold bars shown in the product photos, but that's alright I guess. :)

Small Safe

[Size: 1.2 CUFT]
This safe comes with everything you need to get set up and secure your valuables. There are a few things to keep in mind. A mounting kit is included if you want to attach it to a wall or floor. Realistically, this is not a high end metal safe, it is lightweight and if someone really wanted to, they could break it open or just pick it up and walk away with it. I would give it a 2 out of 5 for security purposes. I just needed a larger box to store documents since my current lock box is full. It has a very small fireproof bag included. You could fit a passport or two in there and that is it. You would need to buy a larger fireproof document bag to keep in the safe if you want to protect your will or something like that. There is an internal light so when you open the door, a tiny light shines into the safe so you can see what is in there. There is a soft grey mat at the bottom of the safe and the top shelf is removable if you need more space. There are three ways to unlock the safe: there is a set of emergency keys, your passcode, or if the batteries die and you need to open the safe you can connect it to a power supply via USB-C and it will open that way. I did have some issues programming my pin. It didn't want to take it at first and I had to re-set it. The alarm even went off which was annoying. I finally got it to work, but I feel that this might be a known issue, because the directions say to use the passcode several times before you start keeping items in the safe. It literally, just randomly started working. I use these types of safes all the time at hotels, so I knew what I was doing, but mine wanted to be glitchy. Then it decided to work and I had no more issues. I will be keeping my really important stuff in my old fireproof lockbox, but I can move several things over into this safe. It's small, does not take up much space and works, so I am fine with it.

[Size: 1.2 CUFT]
Small SafeThis small safe is 1.2 cubic feet. For those who don't speak cubic feet, like me, that translates to just under 10" x 10" x 13" on the outside. It's not huge, but it's definitely on the larger side for safes that can actually be carried out of the house in case of evacuation. (Think wildfires, floods, tsunamis, shtf situations.) Empty, it weighs about ten pounds. There is a shelf inside that can be removed for larger items. (Or huge stacks of cash, if anyone still has those anymore.)The entry is either key or keypad. There is an alarm on this safe. While it's true that it could be carried off if you're using it unattached in case of evacuation, it can also be secured to a wall. (Or inside a wall. Behind a hidden picture? Mayyybe.) It comes with the needed hardware. It also comes with two keys, a user manual, a felt pad, a fireproof bag, and a USB cable to power it with. It can take four AA batteries, which are not included. As for security, this has three bolts instead of one, making prying it open extremely difficult. It says that it is drill proof, but of course I'm not going to be testing that myself.I think this is a good choice for both mounting or portability, depending on your needs.

This small safe is okay. I misunderstood some things about it, but they are as advertised. I call them out in hopes others won’t repeat my error.* This is not a fireproof safe. There’s a tiny bag for only a very few documents included. This is what’s fireproof. It’s maybe large enough to fit a couple of passports or a couple of car titles, but it is not sized to hold more than a few small or folded papers. This is a huge drawback for my needs.* The safe itself is not terribly heavy. So it would be easy to pick up and walk off with.* I misunderstood that the powered keypad was easily rechargeable. For me, this isn’t the case. It is powered by (not supplied) AA batteries. If the batteries go out, it can be powered by a USB cable that needs to be powered by a 5V powerpack (also not supplied).* There is a backup manual key. This is about the best thing about this set up. If the electronics fail or if the whole battery-not-supplied isn’t for you, there are two keys included. The instructions are fairly straightforward.Because I wanted a fireproof safe that has a more powerful digital keypad, I wouldn’t choose this again. This is a VINE REVIEW for:1.2 Cu Ft Small Safe Box for Home with Digital Keypad and Key LockHome Security Safe with Removable Shelf and Fireproof Bag, Money Safe for Cash, Medicine, Jewelry, 9.84"H x 13.78"W x 9.84 D"Visit the JSNW StoreCurrently ~$70

[Size: 1.2 CUFT, Size: 1.2 CUFT]
This 1.2 Cu Ft safe seems relatively sturdy. It arrived well wrapped and secured without any damage. It comes with the ability to electronically or mechanically lock and includes two keys. The electronic lock requires you to supply 4 AA batteries. There is also a USB-C port of entry for emergency, should you not have your keys and the batteries are dead. There are two holes in the bottom and two holes in the back through which you can secure the safe to a non-mobile surface. It does include the necessary hardware to do so. As to fire resistance, by way of heat, it is not. Obviously, if somebody wanted to steal this they could certainly use crowbars and other equipment to make it so including potentially cutting the wood supports to which it may be attached.I found the instructions very complete. I was able to easily program a master code as well as a second code. The keys worked well. I tried using it with just the USB-C cable and that worked. I did install four of my AA batteries which also worked. As to the cost benefit ratio this is difficult to determine. When I received the it was almost $70 and now is closer to $60 which makes it more competitive.

High Quality Safe, Easy to MountHigh Quality Safe, Easy to Mount

[Size: 1.2 CUFT, Size: 1.2 CUFT]
This Safe is perfect and very high quality. Installation was incredibly easy. I simply mounted it to a stud and it took about 5 minutes.I love how it includes a removable shelf and fireproof bag. I took the shelf out and was able to fit some larger items inside. The fireproof bag is perfect for documents. The keypad works great and was very easy to program, but I LOVE how it comes with an emergency key so you don’t have to use the keypad and actually have an option if you forget the code or if the battery dies. The safe itself is made out of high quality materials, it’s heavy, locks tight. Once mounted it’s definitely not going anywhere. It’s perfect and gives me peace of mind to know my valuables and important documents are safe while having cleaners or dog walkers in my home. All in all, this is easy to recommend as it’s high quality, exactly as advertised, and a great value compared to other big brands.
