I've been really happy with this smart fingerprint door knob. The black finish gives it a clean, modern appearance, and it looks much nicer on the door than I expected for the price. It has a solid feel to it and doesn't feel cheap or flimsy when using the handle.Installation was fairly simple and didn't require anything complicated. It fit my existing door setup well, and once installed, getting everything programmed was straightforward. I really like having several ways to unlock it, especially the fingerprint option and keypad. It's nice being able to get in without having to carry a key around.The app control is another great feature. Being able to manage the lock from my phone and have multiple passcodes is especially convenient if you have family members, guests, or anyone else who needs access. The auto-lock feature is also reassuring because I don't have to worry about whether I remembered to lock the door behind me.I like that it has different modes as well. The privacy and passage settings make it versatile enough for different situations, whether you're using it on an exterior door, bedroom, office, or another room where you want more control over access.The fingerprint reader responds quickly, and having up to 100 passcodes gives you plenty of flexibility. The overall construction feels sturdy, and the electronic features make everyday entry much more convenient than a traditional lock.For the price, I think this is a great value. It looks good, feels solid, is relatively easy to install, and gives you several convenient keyless-entry options. If you're looking to upgrade a standard door knob to something smarter without spending a fortune, this is definitely worth considering.

It's VERY rare to see this but the screws used for installation are GROUPED together in SEPARATE bags and LABELED to show what they are used for, including an illustration of the usage. Blew my mind. Made the install SO simple.So simple that even after choosing the wrong screw initially (based on my door thickness) I was able to recognize my mistake by READING the instructions on the bag. They had included screws for the mount that work with different door thicknesses. Then there's the EXTRA screws included - just in case. Again, LABELED "extra" so you don't spend time wondering if you forgot a step!This lock is ideal for a garage entry door. Especially with the excellent numeric buttons. Because when I'm coming into the home from the garage I often have gloves on and fingerprints are clearly not an option. The buttons are perfect. Durable and a positive tactile feel. I could even operate them with a knuckle. Backlit too.The fingerprint read is essentially instant. But like any of them if you're using your hands outdoors or they are wet, that can affect it. But it's been that way with ANY I've tried. Big plus here are the LARGE buttons for cases when fingerprint is just not working.The only potential downside I see depending on where the lock is installed is that it's a knob instead of a lever. So you need a fist to open it instead of just pushing down with a wrist. Often my hands are full when coming into the home from the garage.The material and build quality are outstanding. The look/feel and operation are SOLID.The voice annunciation is a nice plus but the volume is a bit low compared to others I've tested. Even at the high setting. In the video you can see this when I engage the pass-through function. You need to be facing the key pad in order to clearly hear the annunciation. It's minor and only noticeable to me because I tested another that was quite loud.The dedicated button to toggle passthrough on/off is much appreciated. Unlike some others I've tested, you can't "look" at the lock and know if passthrough is on or off. Some locks use a lever instead of a button and the color revealed by the lever indicates the mode. It's minor though. At the end of the day just tap your fingerprint - if passage mode was on, it will turn it off and lock the door.Paring with the SmartLife app could not be simpler. Start the app, tap the lock to wake it, and it's ready to pair. Completing the setup and adding the fingerprint took only a minute. This lock also has a greater variety of notifications that can be setup in the app compared to others I've tested. You can see them in one of the images below.

I installed this smart door lock on a door near my bedroom and tested the fingerprint reader, keypad, and physical key functions.Setup was straightforward, and all three methods worked as expected. I especially like that physical keys are included. No matter how convenient electronic locks are, I still prefer having a traditional backup method available.The lock itself looks very nice, and the aged-brass finish gives it a more substantial and polished appearance than many inexpensive smart locks. Build quality feels above average as well.My main complaint is that to get full functionality this requires an additional Wi-Fi gateway. I did not test remote app unlocking because I do not own the required gateway, and I would prefer to have all of the major features available without buying another accessory.At $35.99, though, I think this is an excellent value for a good-looking smart lock with fingerprint, keypad, and key access.I have owned similar electronic locks that lasted anywhere from about one to three years. Wanted to stop fumbling for keys whenever someone showed up without warning. Setup done; the keypad just worked for punching in codes. The fingerprint sensor felt quick enough that mornings didn't spiral into me troubleshooting at the door. Having that physical handle knob there matters too because sometimes you want a lock that acts like a lock no tapping required. Solid feel to the whole thing. The antique silver finish sat well against what I already had on the door. What landed for me fingerprint and keypad together meant different family members could pick their method the knob style gave that familiar twist and go screen and buttons readable in regular light. What didn't program takes a few minutes at the start not long but not instant. The sensor wants your finger placed the same way each time especially early on so don't rush that first test. For the price you're getting multiple entry options without shelling out for a big-name system which felt fair. Build quality seemed durable from how the handle moved no wobble through daily use. Capacity held up fine multiple codes and fingerprints for the household without complaint. My routine was programing the fingerprints and codes set up a few access paths then bounce between keypad and fingerprint on regular trips checking recognition speed and whether it locked behind me reliably.

I give it 5 stars. The lock arrived well packed and with all the necessary parts for installation. The design looks modern and the keyboard responds well when entering the code. The materials feel durable and the black finish combines with different door styles.The installation requires a little time if it is the first time you place a smart lock, but following the instructions it can be done without further complications. So far it has worked properly and offers a practical way to enter without relying only on a key.
