PR1 Countertop Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System

I have been looking for a water purifier that has UV filtration and a glass carafe and the Purevua PR1-A was just what I was looking for and at a great price. It uses 2 separate filters and the raw water supply tank is about 3 quarts capacity producing 2 quarts of clean water max per cycle. I run this 2x a day for 1-gallon of filtered water every day for family usage. This purifier is easy to use from start to finish, the only things I would have liked would have been a display of the actual TDS reading instead of just an indicator light and the availability of getting another carafe which is unavailable. Using an external TDS meter my tap water listed 318 TDS and the finished purified water listed 21 TDS. All in all it's a good product and well built, the control buttons are very responsive to touch and I highly recommend this product.

Water taste much better no more chemical taste. Set up was pretty easy took me about 10 minutes. It doesn’t take up a lot of spaces

I live in an apartment. Most municipal water is drinkable (except SoCAL where in some jurisdictions is over 350 according to the TDS!), the water here hovers around 150.The unit does not come with a numeric TDS measurement. Instead, it has light that is blue if the TDS is safe to drink. And red if it is not. To confirm if the unit worked properly, I bought my own TDS measurement. After filtration, the TDS shows 10, which is equivalent to bottled water and equivalent to my previous 5 stage under the sink water filtration system.The discarded water measures over 350. Pre-filtered water is 150.Usage: You fill it up to the line, and if you haven't used it in over 24 hrs, they say to discard the first 3rd (which is the 1st icon). The water tank is located in the back and can be detached to clean. The tank requires some jiggling to loosen, but on the bright side, it's secured enough to not cause leakers.I don't take the tank out but once a week. When not in storage, I make the water in batches. I place the unit next to the sink, after it finishes a batch, I lift the unit and dump out the water. And just fill the tank back up. Repeat until I get a couple of gallons per run. Then I take the water tank out and place it in the dishwater. I bought a couple of the glass milk bottles to fill up.Sure, your workflow needs to change a bit, though the reward of getting clean water everyday is well worth it.

I am really impressed with this countertop RO water purifier. The 5-stage filtration system gives me confidence that the water is thoroughly purified, and the automatic TDS detection makes it easy to monitor water quality. I especially like that there’s no installation or plumbing required—just fill the tank and it’s ready to use. The 2-liter capacity is convenient for everyday use, and the included glass pitcher feels much nicer than a typical plastic container. The controls are simple and easy to understand, while the filter-life reminders and automatic flushing make maintenance straightforward. It has a clean, compact design that fits nicely on the countertop and provides great-tasting, refreshing water. Overall, this is a very convenient and well-designed RO system for my home and small office.

Great Water! This unit sits a bit high, but it has a larger capacity. I like that it's easy to use and to operate. The tank is a bit finicky to put on, so make sure you have room to take it out to dump and reload. I need to find a good use for the leftover water.

I’m very happy with the PureVua reverse osmosis water filter system. The water tastes noticeably cleaner and fresher, and the machine is very easy to use. Setup was straightforward, and I really like having purified water available anytime without constantly buying bottled water. The design also looks clean and modern on the counter. Overall, it works exactly as I hoped and has been a great addition to our home!

We've been using the Purevua RO water filtration system with UV for a little while now. So far I love the simplicity and thought that went into designing the Purevua system.I researched so many RO water filtration devices, most of which were more expensive and also carried with them dependability issues such as leaking at the base (Bluevua), including established brands such as the APEC ROCT-C1-UV, which was too expensive anyway.Since the UV light can't be replaced in the Purevua, as is the case with the other RO UV systems, I expressed my concerns to Purevua. Their response was, "The UV module is not easily damaged and has a long lifespan, lasting for many years. Please rest assured.".One nice surprise with the Purevua RO UV system was being given a free extra year of warranty service. All you have to do is scan a barcode which takes you to their website site in order to register the device. About a day later you'll receive an email stating your device has been registered and has been warranted for an extra year (2 years total).The TDS of our water was 93 and was already being filtered via a Survivor Filter MAX 2 filter under sink system targeting Fluoride + general contaminants AND further filtered by Survivor Filter's stainless steel gravity filter (down to .1 micron).After filtering this water through the Purevua RO water filtration system with UV, the TDS was reduced from 93 to 9. I love the taste and crystal clearness of this RO water. We're also going to try adding a few drops of Traces 40,000 volts electrolyte liquid to a glass of the RO water, to add back the beneficial minerals.In the end, I really don't think you can go wrong with this system. Time will tell concerning the reliability of the system, but for now I'm satisfied.
