It was a breeze to install this as a replacement from a Costco one I had before it died. It Its packaged nicely and protected from damage, and comes with all the right mounting supplies. My last light was motion detecting, and actually where I installed this light I appreciate that its on all the time with a switch. At night it lights up the whole backyard so thats a win. Now that its getting darker sooner I'll be leaving this on a lot.

This is a nice light, but not really for me.Although it looks nice the white isn't the right look for my house. I will keep up for the meantime but for the moment I am looking more for aesthetic over functionality. This is functional and I generally am function over look but not this time. Just not right for me. Easy to install. It seems to be of quality and fairly durable. This is a very simple on/off light. If you ever want it off you need to install with a switch. If not, it will always be on. There is not motion detection and also not photo sensitive. The size is small but bright.

Installation is easy. the light coverage is great for my situation. Here are the issues. This is designed for a side mount not an under mount. You cannot point the light out very far with it mounted on the soffit. That is where mine is mounted behind the barn so it way up in the air so that is not a problem for me. The motion detection works. I have had a problem with the dusk to dawn working properly. Tends to stay on during the day. But so far turning it off and on again fixes it. The over all design works great for my installation.
