These CHKMRJO incandescent light bulbs are perfect for my office desk light fixtures being dimmable, I turned them down about one third of the way for the perfect lighting effect, you know I just do not want overly bright lights everywhere. Like everyone, I have LED bulbs everywhere, but seeing these 75-watt bulbs listed in a 4 pack- just had to try them again. With the standard base and the dimmable function, there are plenty of places I can use them and may get a couple more packs. I will see what the lifespan is, and the warm color is fine for a backlighting effect and a good value for the money. Good Retro finds!

If there's a question about size, these are small bulbs with a regular size screw in bottom. Regular bulbs, not ceiling fan or nightlight screw inside, not for the frig either.They are the old type of incandescent bulbs made before fluorescents and halogens were made to conserve energy and save the world. In the past, a lot of energy used to light these bulbs was lost in the form of heat. They could be very hot, so you didn't want more than one lamp at your desk bc you'd start feeling it and maybe even sweat. Not sweating from nerves but actual heat. No joke! Also, these older bulbs always burned more yellow and still do, not bright white, purple or daylight like CF bulbs canBecause I'm all about conserving the only thing I use these for is a wax warmer which release scent in the house. Otherwise I pay more and get CF bulbs, but I also get a 5 year warranty on those bulbs.

I specifically wanted traditional incandescent bulbs because I prefer the warmer light they produce, and these have been exactly what I was looking for. Installation was quick and they reached full brightness immediately without any flickering. The frosted finish softens the light nicely and creates a comfortable atmosphere that's perfect for lamps and living spaces. They've been running consistently with no issues, and the brightness is very even throughout the room. It's becoming harder to find quality incandescent bulbs, so I was happy to come across these. Overall, they perform reliably and provide the classic warm lighting that LED bulbs sometimes struggle to replicate.

I have a couple of lamps that have completely clear glass shades, so the bulb that is in them is important in terms of the effect. With non-frosted bulbs, the light is blinding, and that just won’t do for me in one of these lamps, which is next to my desk in my office. These bulbs are a nice replacement for that lamp. They give off very bright light, as expected from a 75-watt bulb, but the frosted glass helps soften the light. The end result is that I have a light bright enough for me to work and read by but that doesn’t blind me. It is a soft white, which also helps. The bulbs fit all my lamps, as expected, and in every way, they do what is promised here, as far as I can tell at this point. I just can’t speak to either the lifespan or to the dimmable quality. At this point, I’m plenty happy with this set of replacement bulbs, and they are at a decent price point.

I got this 6-pack of 75W frosted E26 base light bulbs because I was running low. The bulbs look to be good quality in person and are a slightly smaller bulb size than what I consider regular bulb size. They're nice for those short squatty lamps that you don't want the bulb sticking out the top of the shade and things like that.I understand that these are also dimmable. The light emitted is good and what I would expect from 75W bulb. They work perfectly. I will report back if anything odd happens that might make me change the star rating.Happy with these. I would get them again.

They are indeed 120v nominal bulbs; the base is stamped 110-130 but at 120.0v the dissipate 74.5w and have a color temp that measures exactly 2700k (just what you'd from a North American spec general service lamp). I've had some amazon bulbs that needed up to 140v to meet their advertised spec, and as a result produced far less light than you would expect so I always like to include that information in my light bulb reviews. .The filament structure is a horizontal V shape with only a single center support. Pretty much all of the amazon bulbs with this filament design I have tested have a bit of an odor when you first use them, not obnoxious, but noticeable. There seems to be a bit of an oily film on the glass leftover from production. If you're sensitive to smells or chemicals, you can always wash them with a mild detergent before use. .GE used to call this type of lamp a "Basic 75". Not fully diffused like a real soft white, but also not an actual inside frost either. Just a thin silica dusting on the inside of the glass. I'm guessing it's the cheapest way to diffuse an incandescent bulb. I'm not sure if the base is actually brass. It has a slightly textured appearance like maybe a coating was applied over aluminum for either a certain look, or maybe a corrosion inhibitor.As far as unbranded import light bulbs go, these are pretty decent.

These incandescent light bulbs are 75-Watts. I was surprised to find them because in some places they are hard to find due to their not being as efficient as LED or fluorescent bulbs.These four bulbs came well packed in a heavy box, with each bulb in a separate box inside. Priced at just under $19 when I ordered them, or just under $5/bulb, they are more expensive than the LED bulbs I’ve purchased recently. Incandescent bulbs generally cost more.The listing says they are a warm white. Mine was more of an orange when I turned it on.
