I really like the appearance of these lamps, lit and unlit. The soft blue/gold of the base is very attractive along with it's shiny brass accents. There are two switches, one for the base and another for just the lamp. So you do have options. The base does not have options of color choice. It simply cycles through the soft changing colors and patterns. The linen look of the shades adds an extra bit of class to these lamps. When the item first arrives, it looks like a bit of a hot mess but it's actually very easy to assemble. Base is in tact so no worries there. It's only the shades and those are litterally an easy snap. This set even comes with it's own bulb to start you up. It does use the standard E26 type bulb (socket) so you can pick up your fav at your local store. They're a solid weight, not heavy but heavy enough to stay stable and not be easily knocked over. This item is currently selling for $99. For two light up lamps with two USB ports each that look so classy and can still be fun, it's a very fair price. Yes, I would recommend this product. I do wish you could choose the base color mode but that would require a remote and/or extra hardware and programming. That choice is definitely not a deal breaker. These lamps are exactly as advertised and have performed according to specs. No cons. Good product.

The gradual color transitions are very interesting, there are moments they are glowing in one solid color, and there are moments multiple colors are blended. Great for birthdays, parties, and celebrations. I imagine they can be nice for hotel rooms too.2) Main light has a large shade, which provides soft and uniform illumination. The lamps come with two LED light bulbs.3) Two integrated USB charging ports provide convenient charging station for your USB devices. I charged mobile phone, bluetooth speaker, and bluetooth headphone with integrated charging ports. If both lamps are placed on bedsides, up to four USB devices can be charged at the same time.Other features:• Easy to assemble / disassemble shades. Good feature if you relocate.• Uses conventional E26 sockets. You can easily replace the bulbs when you need to. You can even install remote controlled bulbs in the sockets if you like, or use dimmable lights if you already have a dimmer switch in the room.• Separate switches for the the color changing base, and for the main light. The switch for the night light is on the base, and it is a rocker switch. The switch for the light is a conventional turn-knob switch integrated in the socket. These light sets were packaged very well and arrived safely. They also come with the lightbulbs for both lamps, which is a nice bonus. After filming my video, I went ahead and installed one of the lamps so I could see how it looked, and I have to say, they are really nice and beautiful to look at.My biggest issue is with the lighting feature. I wish there were a way to select and keep a specific color instead of having the lights continuously cycle through the different colors. I personally don’t care for the constant changing effect, and having the option to choose an individual color would have made these lamps much more versatile.Overall, they are attractive, unique, and well-made, but the limited lighting options keep them from being as functional as they could be. Adding a color-selection feature would definitely enhance the overall experience and make these lights even better.
