Real Wood Floor Lamps for Living Room

Our apartment's layout puts the dining area lighting in a spot that just does not line up with where we actually put our dining table, so that corner of our home has always felt a little dim on its own. We were on the hunt for a lamp to fill that gap, and this one turned out to be a great fit both functionally and aesthetically.The lamp arrived with every part included and nothing missing from the box. My husband handled assembly and had no trouble putting it together. He said the instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the whole process went smoothly without any confusion or extra tools needed.Visually, it looks just as elegant in person as it does in the listing photos. The wood grain texture along the pole has a nice natural look, and the bamboo joint style detailing gives it a distinct, vintage feel that fits well with our home's aesthetic. The linen lampshade softens the light nicely rather than casting anything harsh.The rotary switch cycles through the different color temperature settings just like a normal lamp switch, and I have really come to appreciate having that flexibility. I get migraines fairly often, so being able to switch to a warmer, less intense yellow tone has made a real difference for me. On evenings when we want a cozier, more intimate atmosphere for dinner, we keep it on the lower warm setting, and when we need brighter light for other tasks in that space, switching up is quick and easy.Height wise, the lamp provides plenty of coverage for the area without feeling too short or awkwardly proportioned for the room. The base feels sturdy and stable, which gives some peace of mind given how much we move around that part of the apartment.Overall, this lamp checked every box we were hoping for. It solved our lighting gap, looks beautiful in the space, and gives us the flexibility to adjust brightness and warmth depending on the moment. This easily earns a full five stars.

I like the appearance of this lamp more than I expected. The wood has a bamboo-like look, and the overall design reminds me of something you might’ve seen in a home many decades ago. It has a nice vintage character without looking outdated, and the neutral style should work with many different types of décor. The lamp itself works properly, and the shade looks nice with it. Unfortunately, my included bulb arrived broken, so I wasn’t able to test the three color-temperature settings that the supplied bulb would have provided. That was disappointing, but I’m rating the lamp itself, and I’m very happy with its appearance and construction. Which is very sturdy, it is nicely weighted and won't tip easily.

This lamp turned out to be so easy to assemble and set up– under 10 mins. The base is heavy and is a solid base for a taller floor lamp. The bamboo pole is a unique touch that adds a naturesque-feel to the room. Everything is top quality until you reach the lampshade, which requires assembly with the lampshade wire frames and is secured by Velcro.I love the assembled look of this lamp. The base is the heaviest piece and keeps this tall floor lamp steady. The bamboo poles screw together and attach to the base by also screwing it in. For the base assembly, I did turn it on its side to tighten the bolt from the underside for a tighter fit.The cord is a long length and an LED bulb is even included. Assembly instructions are vague, but this lamp assembly is pretty straightforward. It’s the lampshade that I wish was a little better quality, but it works with the lamp if you are careful with the assembly which involves clipping the shade’s little metal clips to the wire frame. A couple of them needed to be bent back into shape to properly attach to the frame, but they bent easily while not breaking. Once all of the clips are in place around the frame, the shade is velcroed together to finish the lampshade assembly. This creates a rather large and obvious seam in the shade, but it can be turned toward the wall and easily hidden.Overall, I love how this looks as decor and it’s function as a lamp. It’s sturdy and safe for any household and easy for most to assemble quickly. The lampshade could be changed for a better quality, but hiding the seam helps with the look.

This is a great looking floor lamp, well-made and with quality materials. It was very easy to assemble in 5 minutes or so, the instructions were fine for sequencing and I didn't need to watch the video. Lamp is stable when assembled.A neat feature for most people is the LED bulb has 3 different color schemes: 3000K is warm, easy on the eyes to encourage relaxation or sleep; 4000K is good for reading and 6500K is....a very white color! These colors can be changed from two places - manually using the rotary switch at the lamp base or from turning your wall light switch on/off (if it is wired to the outlet where lamp is plugged in) to change the colors. Personally, I'm using mine in a bedroom and prefer the 3000K setting to be on at ALL times so that I don't have to toggle switch repeatedly. A simple fix is to replace the included bulb with a 3000K E26 one.Overall, a solid made product using real wood and highly recommend.

I didn't expect to love this lamp, but my husband loves it too! Assembling this was easy, as it took him less than 5 minutes. He said it was straightforward and easy. When he was done assembling it, I was delighted at how pretty it was! The cream shade color and the bamboo like base are a nice combination. It was a perfect addition to our living room, as our colors are cream, white, and neutral. We placed this at the corner by the sofa, and it's a lovely addition to that space.Not only does it look nice, but it also functions well. I thought I was trippin' at first because I thought it had a warm light, then white, then warm again... I realized the light does change color! lol! The only thing is that the light changes each time you turn it on. There are 3 settings: warm, cool, and somewhere in between cool and warm. So in my case, I prefer warm yellow light, which means I have to turn it off and on a few times until it becomes warm. The color only changes every time you turn it off and on. I wish I could show it through photos or videos but the color changing is not obvious on camera.In terms of material, this is well made and feels premium! This has some weight to it but isn't too heavy, so it's still easy to move around to different parts of the house. Every evening when watching TV, we turn this lamp on instead of dimming the ceiling lights. This is much better and adds to the ambiance of the room. We love this lamp and highly recommend it! One of our favorite Amazon finds.

I love this floor lamp! It is beautiful, was very quick and easy to put together, and truly does look nice in any space. My photos show the "natural wood" color, but I also think brown would be gorgeous. The base is somewhat heavy/sturdy but it is easy enough to move around. This takes a max 60W bulb.Truthfully, though this lamp is a beautiful accent piece, it is not worth the $80 price tag. For a standing lamp, it is on the smaller side with a small lamp shade. This would be perfect for a more compact space.

I really like the look of this floor lamp. The solid wood and natural wood grain give it a much nicer, more substantial appearance than lamps that are made to look like wood, and the linen shade gives off a soft, cozy light. It has a great mix of vintage, farmhouse, and modern style that can work with a lot of different decor.I especially like having the three different color temperature settings. It's nice being able to switch from a warmer light in the evening to a brighter light when I actually need to see what I'm doing. The rotary switch is simple to use, and the included LED bulb is plenty bright.The base has a good amount of weight to it, so the lamp feels sturdy and stable instead of top-heavy or easy to knock over. Assembly was also straightforward and didn't take long at all. Overall, it's a really attractive floor lamp that looks more expensive than your typical basic standing lamp. Very happy with it!

This tall SUNMORY lamp is a perfect addition to my living room.This lamp is very attractive and extremely well-made. I love the look of it. It’s interesting and still neutral enough to work in just about any room.The lamp comes in a smaller box in separate pieces that still have the electrical cord running through them. You will need to screw the pieces together, but they fit together well and the lamp is super sturdy when put together. The base is also decently heavy, so I don’t need to worry about someone knocking it over.I love that it comes with a light bulb that has 3 different color options. It’s so nice getting to choose cool or warm lighting for my room.This lamp is perfect for the area behind my couch. I love how it looks when the lamp is on or off. Highly recommend!
