I have used this tester a handful of times and find it more useful than expected. I went around checking our previous first cutting and located a few bales (round) that showed a tad higher than I expected. We are running second cutting now and double checked our first baling to find a better level using the info I gathered at first cutting.Obviously, this is an extremely easy tool to use and I have nothing to compare its accuracy to. But what really matters is that it gives you a reading that can only be used in context to your own hay. That's its value.A inexpensive as this probe meter is, there is no reason to go without one. It will help us in the years to come.
