I am very excited to have the HIDALIFE Smart Fingerprint Keyless Entry Door Knob installed on my front door. I was especially interested in the fingerprint-entry feature because it will be extremely helpful for my young children. They may have difficulty remembering a numerical code, and I would worry about them losing a key while carrying it back and forth. The fingerprint option seems like a convenient and practical solution for our family.

This smart lock has been a really nice upgrade for my office door at the house. The fingerprint scanner works, but it can take multiple attempts. It unlocks almost instantly most of the time. I also like having multiple ways to unlock it, so there’s always a backup option. I mainly use the keypad option since it is faster than scanning my fingerprint. The fingerprint reader's location is too awkward to use.The handle feels solid and the lock itself looks modern without being overly bulky. Installation was easier than I expected and only took me around less than 15mins to uninstall the old one and reinstall the new one in. The best part of this door lock is not having to worry about the kids going into the room, and making a mess, while I can easily enter the room like a normal door.Overall, it’s convenient, secure, and makes the room feel a little more high-tech. Definitely worth it if you want an easy keyless entry setup for a bedroom or office.

Just installed about two hours ago so far so good. Installation was pretty straightforward, quality seems to be on point and the instructions were easy to follow since videos for installation and programming were included. Not quite sure about durability since it’s only been a couple of hours, but I did deduct a star because I did not have enough screws included in the packaging. I had to go around the house and look for some. I have included pictures because you can see a picture of one of the screws I had to go and find as compared to a screw that came with the packaging. I will update after some time to comment about durability. Just wish I had all the screws that I needed because I’m honestly considering about ordering two more but we will see.

I installed this smart knob on my back door to replace my old lock, and it lined up with the existing door holes with zero fuss. The fingerprint reader scans my thumb instantly, so I can unlock the door and walk right in when my hands are full of groceries. The black metal looks really sharp against the wood and feels thick and durable instead of cheap plastic. It locks itself back up tight the second the latch clicks shut, which gives me great peace of mind.

This is a nice lock set. The looks of it are sharp and nice.For a solo exterior door lock to a house, it has issues, it’s not as secure as a deadbolt. But this is true for any knob lock. I have mine set up to my garage. The fingerprint here is great for keyless entry with bags of groceries. Since it is in my garage, I don’t have any concern having only the knob locked.There is a slider inside the house that allows you to change how the lock works. On red it locks behind you. On green it does not lock at all. This is great if you are going in and out.Assembly is essentially the same as any lock set. Well covered in the directions. Only extras are it’s a bit heftier, there is an extra plate to align to hold the inside panel, and battery install it takes AAs.The touchy part is programming. You must change the program code, and it is longer than your entry code. So, you have at least two codes to keep up with. Getting the programing done is covered well in the manual but it is still a pain. Honestly it always is. It is not worse than any other product of this type and it does work well. Has large storge for multiple prints and codes. The battery power lasts with no issues. The panel is well lit.Very well made, solid and useful knob lock. Well priced.

I like this keypad doorknob much better than some others I’ve had previously. It’s very modern and seems to be heavy duty.The installation was extremely easy and the setup was very clear. The instructions are available via QR code and also comes with an easy to follow manual.The quality is much better than I expected. It features a fingerprint access or you can set up passcodes or both. It allows 50 access codes. It also has a switch that will allow it to stay in passage mode if you’re going in and out often or you can set it to a timed auto lock.The keypad is not “buttons”, it’s more like a microwave keypad so no parts to fall off. It’s a great value for the money.
