I picked up this slat wall light kit for a custom accent panel project and it turned out great. The recessed profile fits neatly between the slats without sticking out, and the diffusers do a solid job of evening out the illumination so you don't end up with harsh spots. Operating the touch control is intuitive for adjusting brightness, and having memory for your last setting makes daily use convenient when tied to a switch. Temperature adjustment takes a quick sec to get used to, but overall the build quality and finished look are excellent for the price.

Dimming from 10% to 100% is also useful when I want something more subtle.One important thing to check before buying is the panel thickness. The light bars are 0.43 inches high, so the panels need to be at least 0.5 inches thick for a flush fit. Also, all six bars display the same color rather than being controlled individually.Overall, a versatile lighting kit with plenty of useful features.

These slat wall lights are a great find. They are high quality and look great. There 2 of each length: 16”, 24”, and 40”. They provide a vast array of RGB colors, delivering every hue imaginable. There are also several display effects that really bring your application to life. The brightness is fully adjustable and the lights can be synced to the audio of your media which takes movie nights and gaming to another level. Installation was a bit tedious, but still fairly easy. The adhesive does a good job of securing them in place and there are a few extra adhesive strips included which is a nice bonus. Overall I’m very happy with them and I’m considering ordering another set for another room.

I picked up this kit for a custom lighting installation I’m building, and my first impression was very positive. Everything arrived extremely well packaged, with each light individually wrapped to prevent scratches or damage during shipping.The light bars themselves are lightweight, which is important since they’re mounted using the pre-installed double-sided adhesive tape. Each light measures approximately 12 mm wide by 12 mm deep, giving them a clean, low-profile appearance. The advertised lengths are close, but not exact. I measured the 16-inch lights at about 16.5 inches, the 24-inch light at about 24.25 inches, and the 40-inch lights at just under 40 inches.Each light includes a diffuser cover with a protective plastic film that should be removed after installation. The diffuser does a nice job of producing even, soft light without visible LED hotspots.The touch controls work very well. A quick touch turns the lights on or off, while touching and holding smoothly adjusts the brightness. One feature I really like is that the lights remember both their last brightness level and their on/off state. If you leave them on and control power with a wall switch, they’ll return to their previous brightness when power is restored, making them easy to integrate into a permanent installation.Another nice touch is that the touch sensor remains illuminated with a soft blue light whenever the controller has power, even when the lights themselves are off. It makes the switch easy to find in a dark room and gives the installation a clean, modern look.Changing the color temperature was the only feature I found a little awkward. The instructions state that touching and holding for 1–2 seconds changes the color temperature, but I found that quickly cycling the lights off and back on was a much more reliable way to switch between the five color temperatures. Once you figure it out, it works, but it isn’t as intuitive as the dimming control.All of the light bars connect back to the included control hub, and the touch sensor also plugs into that hub. The cables are generously long and come pre-attached with simple plug-in connectors. The only downside is that, because the cables are permanently attached and use molded connectors, you can’t easily shorten or customize the cable lengths if you’re looking for a very clean installation.I think this is a well-designed lighting kit. The lights are bright enough for task lighting at full output, dim down smoothly for excellent ambient lighting, and the diffuser gives them a clean, professional appearance. I’m looking forward to incorporating them into my custom project.
