These magnetic cabinet catches are a simple and effective way to keep cabinet and cupboard doors securely closed. I really like the ultra-thin design because it doesn’t add much bulk and stays relatively discreet once installed. The adhesive backing also makes installation quick and convenient without having to drill holes, which is especially useful for finished cabinets or rental spaces. The four-pack provides enough pieces for several doors or drawers, and the silver finish blends nicely with most hardware. The magnets provide a satisfying hold while still allowing the doors to open without too much effort. They’re useful in kitchens, bathrooms, closets, and storage cabinets where doors tend to shift or pop open. My only minor complaint is that the adhesive works best on clean, smooth surfaces, so proper surface preparation is important. Overall, a practical little upgrade that solves a common cabinet problem with minimal installation effort.

These magnetic catches do a solid job of keeping cabinet doors closed without any drilling or hardware installation. They’re slim, easy to stick on, and the magnets have enough strength to keep doors from drifting open. For quick, no‑fuss cabinet fixes, they’re definitely convenient.A common concern — and one I noticed too — is that the adhesive doesn’t always hold up over time. On smooth surfaces it’s fine, but on textured doors or ones that get opened a lot, the stickiness can weaken, which several reviewers also point out.

These were so easy to put on the doors. I had to put them on the bottom of the doors because there was not enough overlap at the tops of the doors. Once I figured that out, it was easy. For such small thin magnets, they have quite a good hold. My toddler grandkids hasn't gotten to test them yet, but it has been nice for keeping the kitties out of the bottom kitchen cabinets which was my main goal with these. I love that they are an invisible solution, as opposed to bulky child lock devices. They also don't require manipulation to get the doors open like child locks do either. They worked so well, that I have already ordered another pack and I now have one for each of my bottom kitchen cabinet doors.I highly recommend these and think it is a good value for the quality.

I’m using multiple magnets per lower kitchen cabinet as an invisible toddler deterrent, and apparently the greatest advancement in home security is convincing a small child that a cabinet door simply doesn’t work. He sees the door. He tugs. The door refuses to participate. He stares at it briefly, accepts this new limitation of the physical universe, and moves on. No visible child locks, no plastic contraptions hanging everywhere, no kitchen that looks like OSHA recently cited Fisher-Price.The magnets stay completely hidden and provide just enough resistance that the cabinets aren’t worth the effort without making them annoying for an adult to open. They work beautifully. Unfortunately, their success has not reduced the overall threat level. It has merely redirected him toward other unsecured areas of the house, so apparently I’m now in an arms race with someone who still occasionally eats Cheerios off the floor.

I really love the small size of these magnet stickers—they are so much sleeker and less bulky than other brands I’ve tried. The color stands out against my dark cabinets. As for performance, these magnets are very strong! In fact, they might be too strong for lightweight cabinet doors. I installed one on a door where I hang measuring cups on the inside, and pulling it open required so much force that it rattled everything on the door. The adhesive is top-notch. I was able to reposition mine immediately after applying it with much effort., but given how strong the stickiness is right out of the package, I doubt it would come off easily once fully set. Compared to the other brand I have installed nearby, I prefer the compact size of these, though the magnetic catch on the other brand is a bit gentler. Overall, a great, heavy-duty magnet as long as you put it on the right cabinet!

If you have a cabinet door that’s always slightly ajar, this works really well to keep it closed shut. I have no complaints with the stickiness or the functionality. However, $10 for 4 pieces is very expensive because most homes have a lot more than 4 cabinets. So though I love this product for how well it works, unless you have just a few problem cabinets, I would skip this product. However, if most of you cabinet doors shut tight and you have 4 to 8 problem doors, this may be a great solution for you.

Living in an apartment built over 25 years ago means dealing with decades of minor wear and tear from previous tenants. One issue that had been floating around our to-do list was fixing the worn cabinet hardware that helps our doors function properly. Since drilling into rental property cabinets is something we prefer to avoid, these stick-on magnetic catches caught our eye. A four-pack felt like the right starting amount to test on our most troublesome cabinet doors.Installation was about as effortless as it gets. You simply peel off the backing and press them directly onto the frame and door, which works well on narrow drawer fronts and slender stiles where bulkier latches cannot fit. Following the recommendation to wait 12 hours before using the doors gave the adhesive time to bond firmly. While the product description highlights these as magnetic catches designed to hold doors shut, they serve a slightly different function than soft-close foam dampeners, which absorb impact rather than holding a door closed. That said, the low-profile stainless steel design leaves a clean, nearly invisible look, and the magnetic pull keeps the doors firmly shut without rattling. For ten dollars, it has been a quick, landlord-friendly repair that solved a persistent daily annoyance.Pros & ConsPros:No-drill installation protects rental property cabinets from damageUltra-thin profile fits slim frames and tight spaces effortlesslyBudget-friendly price point for a four-packStrong magnetic hold stops cabinet doors from drifting openStainless steel construction offers a clean, low-profile lookCons:Requires a 12-hour wait time for maximum adhesive strengthAdhesive performance depends on having a clean, smooth surfaceHolds doors closed but does not soften the impact like a foam bumperReview Title Ideas
