Good solid quality parts and it came VERY well packaged. I put this light in our hallway and I'm really happy with how it turned out. The gold finish looks really nice and the milk glass shade gives it that old school look without making the room feel dated. It actually looks more expensive then it was.Install was pretty easy, took me maybe 30-40 minutes once I had everything ready. The instructions could of been a little better, but it wasn't too hard to figure out. Everything lined up good and it feels very solid once its mounted.The three bulbs give off plenty of light and the glass shade spreads it around the room really nice. I like that its close to the ceiling too, especially in the hallway where I didn't want something hanging down.Overall I'm really happy with it. It looks great, gives off good light and was pretty simple to install. Definately a nice little upgrade without spending a ton of money.

This light is just as pictured and absolutely beautiful in person. It has such a classic/vintage look while still feeling timeless.I used these in my stairwells, where I needed something fairly close to the ceiling but wanted something to replace the ugly flush-mount “boob light.” This is a wonderful alternative. The ribbed glass and the gold finish looks beautiful.It also provides plenty of light. The ribbed glass allows the light to shine through nicely while adding a really pretty effect when the fixture is illuminated. Even when it's turned off, the glass and shape make it look decorative rather than simply functional.Installation was straightforward and easy to figure out, and once installed it feels substantialI'm extremely happy with it. It's functional, provides plenty of light, and has that classic/vintage look I was hoping for. Id say for $100...its a great value and a better option than many basic, builder grade looking lights.

Ordered this to replace the lighting fixture in the primary bedroom closet - it's a large, custom closet and while the fixture we had in there before was nice, it did not put out nearly the amount of light needed to be able to see well enough in there.Putting in this fixture has made a world of difference - and we are super happy with this item as a result. Here are some of the other reasons why:1. It was very easy to install, even if you don't have a lot of experience with replacing lighting fixtures. It's easiest to do as a two person job (so the 2nd person can hand you things, etc) but even as a solo project, it's not more than a 20 minute process total.2. It is very bright without being brash - meaning it gives a nice amount of light that is still soft enough to give a warm look to the room. This is perfect for that space but this is definitely a light you can put anywhere else too like a bedroom, hallway, office, etc.3. The design of it is very cool looking - it looks far more expensive than it actually is, and that's always a good thing. Instantly elevates any room it's put in, honestly.4. It's very easy to take apart to clean if you want/need to, and also easy to replace bulbs. Note that those are not included, but it takes E26 which are fairly inexpensive and readily available everywhere.5. The quality of the build is very nice...I have no doubt this lighting fixture will serve us well for years to come. It is very upscaleThis item is fantastic in every way possible. I can't recommend it enough - a solid 5 stars all the way across the board!

I was in need of a new ceiling light, after an old fixture broke down. I didn't want to get just another plain boring 'almost builder grade' ceiling light, like the old one. I wanted something more attractive! But it still needed to be somewhat close to the ceiling. This light fit the bill perfectly!I really like the ribbed glass enclosure of this light! Combined with the gold metal, this will be a really pretty addition to my home.To anyone thinking about this light - be aware that it has a bulb limit of 6w LED light bulbs (equivilent of 40w). I haven't seen them myself, but I've read that there are *some* "60w" bulbs that are only 6w rather than 8w. So, that's my only qualm - is that I'll have to buy other light bulbs for this, as I generally use bulbs that are 60w-equivilent. (8w LED) But that will actually be best anyway, based on the location of this light Three 40-watt-equivilent bulbs should put out plenty of light.Recommended!

from 3 stars to 4 starsI got this thinking it would be big based on their showroom style photos, where it looked substantial hanging in that staircase and entryway setting. The listed measurement showed it was about the size of a letter sized sheet of paper in diameter, but my instinct kept relying on how large it appeared in those staged photos rather than the actual numbers given. When it arrived, the size was exactly as measured, no issue there, but once I put it up in my own space, it looked much smaller than I expected for the area. I ended up having to take it down and move it to the closet since it just did not fill the space the way I had pictured.The product itself is excellent and true to its stated measurements, I bumped this up to 4 stars. The issue here is really about the seller's staged photos creating a misleading sense of scale, not a flaw in the product itself. Since the light performed exactly as advertised and the quality sounds good

This light is really pretty. The glass is beautiful and the gold is a great color.That being said I did not install this light because of the 6 Watt max on the box. That means LED bulbs only.That limits the the bulbs I can use and I'm not going to use LED bulbs.The voltage is 120v but the max watts is 6. The voltage rating indicates the electrical supply the fixture is designed for, while the wattage rating indicates the maximum power the fixture can handle safely.If you are planning on using a watt higher than 6 you are at risk of overheating the fixture.

Such a beautiful ceiling light! It’s what I would call mid-century modern and it hangs from a 6-inch stem. The softly brushed gold of the canopy, stem and finial is very elegant. The thick, clear glass is ribbed, throwing star bursts on the ceiling and emitting a huge amount of light. The ribbing also camouflages the light bulbs. The glass fits tightly against the canopy so no dust can get in there, which is always a pain to clean, and the finial is very unobtrusive. I appreciate the fact that there are three bulbs because I hung this in my hallway where I don’t need a large globe but I want a lot of light. It’s only 12 inches across and hangs 10.5 inches from the ceiling allowing for easy clearance. The base is just 4 3/4-inches in diameter. This light fixture is super easy to mount and it’s very sturdy, once it’s hung. I feel the price reflects the quality, beauty and design of this fixture and it truly expresses the mid-century style I have in my home. I highly recommend.

You can install clear glass bulbs, or frosted bulbs. I installed three common 3500K frosted bulbs. The clear silicone washer goes between the brass washer and the shade to protect the glass when tightening the cap screw.• Good installation hardware. Heavy duty universal crossbar and screws, easy to install on a standard ceiling junction box. Large, knurled wire nuts.• The specified rating for this light is 6-Watts max per socket.• Works with dimmer switches. Install dimmable light bulbs if you already have a dimmer switch.This light is almost perfect. The shade is not completely sealed, there are nine small holes in the pan (three groups of 3-holes). (5-) stars for the design and quality. Good value compared to similar fixtures I have seen lighting stores and show rooms. Ribbed glass is difficult to make and more expensive than smooth glass.
