Noise Reduction Ear Muffs for Ear Protection

These work pretty well. The cushion is only a little stiff, but soft. My head is bigger than normal, at least that’s what my wife says. She may be right. If I leave it on for a long time, I can feel it smashing my head. The instructions say to put it over something like a bowling ball to stretch it out overnight. I haven’t tried that yet, i’ve just been using it around the shop. I can still hear things around me when I’m wearing them, they’re just not loud and piercing my ears.The construction of it looks flimsy, but when I’m wearing it, it doesn’t wiggle or move at all. It has nice adjustability as well. The full weight of it is resting on the crown of my head, and it fully covers my ears. That’s important to me. I hate the ones that partially sits on your earlobe. This one fully engulfs it.My eight year-old wears it too. He has a small head like his mom, but it fits him well also. I can adjust it up to make it smaller, and it fits his ears with no wiggle. We are both low on the spectrum, but we are very sensitive to sound. I’m happy to use these when I need them.

Appearance: nice looking, they look expensive, they don't look stupid, they look like they cost a lot of money!Quality: i was expecting cheap, flimsy, and poor quality, boy was i surprised by these! Thick plastic band that is extendable to make bigger if needed, the ear covering part is comfortable, big enough to cover the ear, and has a nice thick pillowy-like cushion padding.Price: honestly, the price is great! The quality, quantity, and durability of the product you get is amazing, and in comparison, looking at other items, most times, you can barely get one pair of good quality noise canceling muffs for the price you pay for 6 of this product!Performance: these things really work! I would say they cancel out 75-80% noise.. i was able to put them on and still have a conversation lol... so that's good, but it definitely reduces and drowns out the loud and obnoxious noises that can often times be uncomfortable.This is a WIN!! So happy with this product!!! I have 6 kids, so finding a 6 pack couldn't have been any more perfect! There are really so many uses for these things! Cutting the lawn, fireworks, riding the dirtbikes/atvs, etc.I'm thinking roadtrips, when some of the kids are being obnoxious, and distracting the driver lol.. i may have to put these on! Or maybe some of the kids trying to sleep on the road trip but others are being noisy..

I don't have particularly large ears, but it is harder for me to find earphones with cups that fit around my whole ear for some reason. These ear protectors are tight TIGHT on my head and the cups are on my ears as opposed to my ears inside the cushion.I had them on for a while earlier and they DO block out loud annoying sounds which is why I wanted them.The boxes that each came in (it's a 2 pack) were all beat up and ripped in some areas, like someone played soccer with them in the warehouse, which was weird.Took off 1 star because the ear parts didn't fit my whole ear so they won't be comfortable to wear for any long length of time (like a whole Nascar race let's say) Just works for when i use my orbital sander or my saw. They work great for short term for me personally.

My personal experience with Vezzse’s 6‑pack of noise‑reducing headphonesMy box of headphones arrived Sunday in a brown Amazon mailing box. Inside that was another brown box holding the six individually boxed sets. When I opened one, I noticed how compact it was. At first I wondered if it might be youth‑sized, but the product page states it is for both adults and youth, so I tried it on.The headset felt sturdy and compact. The product page mentions that if it feels tight the first time, you can place it over an object to help loosen it a bit. That turned out to be helpful for my husband since he’s tall and has a larger head. I put it on by placing the band over my head and then pulling the ear sections down until they sat over my ears.The first time I wore them, I realized my earrings and hearing aids were pinched inside the muffs, so I took a break and tried again later without the earrings. That made a big difference. I kept my hearing aids on, and for a while they were just fine.I wore the headset outside while watering my garden and using a blower and a small chain saw. The sounds around me felt noticeably quieter. When I came back inside, I didn’t hear the television at first, even though I usually play it a little loud. I had a brief moment of quiet before removing the headset, and once I did, the TV sounded normal again.There were a couple of moments when my hearing aids reacted to the pressure, but for me it was easier than taking them off and trying to remember where I set them down. I would not recommend the headphone.You can still hear most of the noises. They don't do a good job reducing the sound. They are not designed to wear for long period of time.

I ordered these earmuffs for hearing protection around our farm, where I am exposed to a lot of noise from operating machinery, building projects, and equipment repairs. Good hearing protection is important to me, and I already own earmuffs from several name-brand companies. I am pleased to say that, in my experience, these perform equally well when it comes to reducing noise.I really like the size and shape of the ear cups. My ears fit comfortably inside, and the earmuffs compress firmly against my head to create a tight seal. That compression also does a great job of keeping them securely in place. I can move around, bend over, and work without having to constantly adjust them or worry about them slipping off.One thing worth mentioning is the sizing. I would consider my head to be a normal adult size, and I have to adjust these earmuffs to their maximum size for them to fit me properly. They work well for me at that setting, but because there is no additional adjustment left, I am not sure how well they would fit someone with an extra-large or larger head. On the other hand, the smaller sizing makes these earmuffs and option for children or suitable for babies.The tradeoff for the secure fit is that these are definitely on the tight side. After wearing them for about an hour, I need to take a short break and let my head relax. Otherwise, it starts to feel a little like my head is in a nutcracker. For me, the strong clamping pressure isn't a dealbreaker because I appreciate how securely they stay in place and how well they reduce noise, but it is something to be aware of for extended wear.The quality of the materials and construction also exceeded my expectations. Ear protection is truly important and using earmuffs like these are definitely a good thing.These are definitely adult sized earmuffs. My husband has a L-XL head and these fit him well. They are snug, and could give the user a headache after extended wear, but they need to be snug. They may collapse or reduce to fit children, but I can't attest to that.The ear 'pocket' fits well over the ears. I was pleasantly happy that my ears were not at all smashed and they did not smoosh my lobes and earrings, making them quite comfortable.The rating from the box states these are 32dB SNR (the title lists 34dB). I had to look up SNR as my current ones are NNR. With a slight variance of a few dB, NNR and SNR are the same - SNR being more UK or European measurement. Both measure the same thing, but differ in how that rating is derived. End result, (and again, with slight variation depending on who you ask), take the dB of the environment and subtract the SNR or NRR with the goal being getting the final number no louder than 85dB with below 70dB preferred.I wore these mowing my lawn and switched to my usual earmuffs (nothing fancy) and found them to be pretty equivalent and reduced the noise well. This set fit tighter, but expected as they are new.The muffs are plastic with cushioning under the top tension piece and over the ear pieces. That plastic may rip and tear with age, but with usual use, they should last and hold their value.Overall, these offer versatile ear protection and useful especially for outdoor chores.
