I hung this over my workbench in the garage using the included chains, and it puts out a ton of light. The angled sides spread the brightness out wide across the whole table and onto the floor, so there aren't many dark shadows while you work. The metal casing feels solid, and having the switch right on the cord makes it easy to flick on and off without unplugging it.My only complaint is that the 6500K color is very stark and cold. It has that harsh blue-white look, so if you look up toward the ceiling while working, it can really zap your eyes. A slightly warmer light would have been easier on the eyes during long projects.

For the price, this light is an amazing value. The output is bright with a nice wide beam, and I did not notice any flicker. The light is easy on the eyes and makes it easier to see small parts and details while working. It also came with hardware for several different mounting options, which I appreciated.There is one significant downside: the housing is not metal and it gets very hot. I ran mine for about 25 minutes, as shown in my photo, and measured about 181°F on the back side. Because of that, I would be careful about where and how it is mounted.Great light and excellent value, just be aware of the heat.

This is one of the brightest lights that I’ve seen. Last year we purchased a motion sensor outdoor floodlight that is 18000lm, and this is nipping at its heels with 17500lm. This is intended to be a garage light, but I received it yesterday and today a friend came over to adjust the valves in our car, so we used the supplied hooks and chains and hooked this to the underside of our hood. It was fantastically bright. He commented that the beveled shape ensured that the light illuminated both the front and rear of the engine compartment, making it much easier to work. He was amazed at how bright the light is. It does generate a lot of heat, though, and you have to be careful to avoid touching the housing until it has time to cool off.This light has a super cool (sorry for the technical terms) feature: “Each fixture includes a built-in US outlet for connecting up to 4 lights in one run.” You can plug one light into another to daisy chain them. I did not test it to see if I could plug in anything else.I often look for shop lights that are hardwired, but I really like the portability of this light. If I want to use it in my garage, I plug it into the nearest out. Same if I want to use it under the hood. If I want to use it in my storage shed I can plug it in out there. If I need light to barbeque on my deck, I can plug it in there. This is small and easy to move around and plug in anywhere.I love this light, and I suspect you will too. At $25 it is worth every penny. Fantastic product!!!

It can hang directly from the ceiling on its brackets or on the included chains. There is a plug in and an on off switch and a plug on the back that goes on and off with the switch as well. There are no adjustments for brightness or color of the light, what you get is what you get.Installation/setup: Hang from the included brackets or chains, plug in and turn on. Plug additional lights or other items in receptacle in the back to operate from the switch in the cord.Final thoughts: The light is very bright and covers a large area as the leds are on two surfaces facing two directions. I wanted to plug in my fan to the receptacle in the back, but my fan doesn’t come on without using the remote or the controls in the front so I’ll have to get a different fan that has a physical switch to make that work. I plugged this into a smart plug that works with my Alexa so I can turn it on that way as long as I leave the switch in the cord on. I ended up plugging my other lights in my shop into this light as a daisy chain so they all come on at once with the smart switch. I like this light, it works well and I’m glad I got it.⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.
