Excellent addition to my rotary tools

[Color: 6 Pcs]
I ordered the 6-piece set: three standard-size quick-change socket adapters plus three of the same sizes that offer a slight angle. I already own several of the regular straight adapters, and these work just as well as any others I’ve used. The angled versions, however, fill a real gap in my collection! In tight spaces where I can’t drive straight into it, a traditional swivel can work—but it often becomes a two-handed struggle. One hand runs the drill while the other (usually gloved) tries to hold the swivel aligned. The multi-piece assembly frequently comes apart, forcing me to hunt for dropped parts and start over. However, because the angled section on these adapters is a single solid piece, nothing falls apart. I can simply put the socket on and run it with one hand. That’s the real magic of this design. The angle is modest—noticeably less than 45°—so I will still need to reach for full swivel or a 90° adapter on occasion, but for moderate angles, these fill a gap in my tool bag that I really appreciate being filled by this product.

Tight-space hero that actually lets me drive fasteners where a regular drill just laughs at meTig...

Making things fit where they don’t normally go is the whole name of the game with this set, and yes, that still makes me a little too excited for a handful of adapters.I grabbed this 7-piece GOROBU kit specifically for those jobs where the drill body is bigger than the opening: cabinet screws tucked against a wall, fasteners under a sink, a bolt hiding behind a frame, that one spot on a project where you can see the screw but cannot get a straight shot at it. After a couple weeks of mixed household and garage use, it has earned the 5 stars. The 105-degree right-angle adapter is the piece I reach for first. Chuck it into a 1/4" hex impact driver or drill, drop in a bit, and you can sneak into corners a standard driver will not even pretend to enter. The head rotates a full 360 degrees, so I can roll the driver around until the trigger is comfortable instead of standing on my head. It is not a high-speed drilling attachment. I keep the RPM reasonable and use it for driving screws and light fastening, which is exactly where it shines. The three color-coded impact-grade socket adapters are the sleeper hit. Gold is 1/4", red is 3/8", blue is 1/2". I can grab the right size without squinting at tiny stampings. All three use a standard 1/4" hex shank and the ball-bearing retention actually holds sockets instead of flinging them across the floor the first time you bump the trigger. I used the 3/8" and 1/2" adapters on a few fasteners I could not get a ratchet on cleanly; they locked up, transferred torque, and did not walk off.The three universal-joint adapters add that extra “I cannot believe that angle worked” flexibility. Combine one with the right-angle head and you can snake around obstacles that used to mean taking something apart first.Build is chrome vanadium steel. After repeated use they still look and feel solid. No wobble that I noticed at the speeds I run them, no sockets popping off mid-drive, and the hex shanks seat cleanly in my driver. These are compact, so they live in a small pouch in the tool bag instead of claiming a whole drawer. If you need a full-size right-angle drill for heavy boring, this is not that tool. If you need to drive fasteners, sockets, and bits into spaces that were previously a no-go zone, this little set does the job and makes you look slightly more clever than you probably are. Five stars from me.

Great value

[Color: 6 Pcs]
This is a nice value for what you get. Great for impact guns and super useful for any toolbox. The construction is a little rough and some of the edges are sharp so you need to be careful if you’re going to support the bit while you use it. I was skeptical that it would hold up to the abuse of an impact gun but after a rigorous “send it” until the battery dies trial they have held up well!

Have you ever needed a different angle to fasten your material together?

[Color: 7 Pcs]
We've all running at issues it just the right angle with your power drill. The problem is I usually don't have that right angle and I wound up stripping my screws or bolts or whatnot. This one allows you to get to the right angle without any issues. It seems to work pretty good for low torque items and I am not sure how it will do with hide torque items since there's still bit of leverage issues. I do like the different chucks it comes with and the amount of accessories like this kit comes with. Color coordination is pretty neat. The metal seems pretty sturdy I am not for sure what kind of metal or combination of alloys there are but it seems good enough for me. I beware of using this on a construction site but they probably don't have to do that. Pretty good value that will allow you to get the right fasteners on to your project without any issues.

Very sturdy adapters suitable for impact drivers

[Color: 7 Pcs]
I've gone through a handful of socket adapters over the years that simply didn't stand up to the increasingly powerful impact drivers that have been invading the market in recent years. These adapters were designed explicitly to address that issue. There are three standard adapters - 1/2", 3/8", and 1/2" - and three universal joint adapters (same sizes) for not quite straight shot uses. While I haven't had a situation that put them to the test of extreme endurance, they seem, so far, to perform well in normal situations. For angles that are too tight for a universal joint adapter, there is also a 105 degree angle bit holder that is much more compact than the DeWalt 90 degree holder I've been using, which can be a little easier to use where 90 degrees is just a little too tight of a turn (frankly, I never considered that, but it's very useful where necessary).A very nice addition to my increasingly rich set of add-ons for my growing collection of power tools. This would also make an excellent stocking stuffer.

Complete adapter set with handy color coding, but check that surface finishComplete adapter set w...

[Color: 6 Pcs, Color: 6 Pcs]
his is a review for the GOROBU 6-piece Impact Grade Socket Adapter Set. It seems like I'm always scrounging around for the right bit to drive a particular socket size, so I finally just picked up a complete set. It includes fixed adapters and universal joint adapters in 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" drive sizes, which covers pretty much everything I run into.I use these with a cordless drill, and they turn it into a quick nut driver with no fuss. My favorite feature is the bright color-coded rings on the fixed adapters. When I need the 3/8" one, I can spot it instantly instead of squinting at stamped markings. Oddly, only the fixed versions get the color coding, and the universal joints go without. Not sure why, since those would benefit just as much. The adapters themselves feel strong and get the job done. Sockets snap onto the ball detent and stay put.My main complaint is the surface finish, which is genuinely rough. See my attached photos and judge for yourself. They arrived looking like they had already spent a season rattling around in a truck bed, and I honestly wondered whether they were used or if this is just how they leave the plant. That said, this is a budget set, so I'm not expecting powder coated awesomeness. The finish is cosmetic and hasn't affected function at all.Four stars as a compromise between excellent value and the poor finish. If you need basic socket adapters for a drill without spending much, this set gets the job done. Just don't expect them to look pretty out of the package.

Extremely Useful for Tight SpacesExtremely Useful for Tight Spaces

[Color: 7 Pcs, Color: 7 Pcs]
I was just watching a YouTube video about someone using a right-angle drill adapter when this set showed up in my feed. I’m glad it did because these are incredibly useful for getting into tight spaces where a regular drill or driver just won’t fit.The 105-degree adapter is the star of the set for me. Being able to change the angle and rotate the attachment makes it much easier to reach fasteners in awkward locations. The universal joint, or “wobble” adapters, are also extremely useful for getting around obstacles and approaching fasteners from angles that would otherwise be difficult.I like that the set includes adapters for 1/4”, 3/8”, and 1/2” sockets, all in a standard 1/4” hex format. The color coding makes it easy to grab the size I need without having to read the markings every time. The adapters feel substantial and well made, and the ball-bearing socket retention keeps the sockets securely in place. These solve a lot of those annoying access problems that come up when working on vehicles, equipment, furniture, or around the house. For the relatively small amount of space they take up in a toolbox, they’re incredibly useful.A definite “gotta have” for the toolbox. I can already see these getting used regularly.
