This variety pack was really handy to have while painting. Having both the 1-inch and 2-inch tape meant I always had the right size for trim, edges, and larger areas without needing to buy separate rolls. The tape stuck well to the surfaces I used but peeled off cleanly without damaging the paint or leaving behind sticky residue. It was easy to apply, and I didn't have problems with it tearing while pulling it from the roll. The six-roll pack offers good value, especially if you have multiple DIY projects planned. It's a practical set to keep around for painting, crafts, or other home improvement jobs.

The 2 widths made room prep a lot easier. I used the wider rolls along the baseboards and around a larger section of wall, then saved the narrow rolls for corners and the trim near the door frame. The tape tears by hand cleanly, so I was not hunting for scissors every few minutes. It presses down flat and stays where I put it while painting. After the paint had set up, I pulled the tape back slowly and the edge came out clean. I did not have blue paper ripping apart in little pieces, and there was no sticky residue left on the painted surface. The 1 inch rolls are the ones I will reach for around small details, while the 2 inch rolls cover more ground and hold protective paper in place. Having both sizes together makes sense for regular projects around the house.

Solid Budget Painter's Tape - Thinner than 3M, but no Residue. At $22.99 for 6 rolls, this masking tape is a good budget option that performs comparably to 3M blue painter’s tape in many ways. It may be a little thinner, but it feels slightly tackier on application.I tested a strip of this tape alongside 3M on a smooth countertop for 4 days. Neither left any residue or film behind upon removal, which is a key concern with painter’s tape. For general painting, masking, or light-duty projects around the house or shop, this is a reliable choice. I wouldn’t hesitate to repurchase as a cost-effective alternative when the price is right.KEY:⭐️ 1 star: Disappointed in the item/purchase. Having both the 2-inch and 1-inch widths in a single pack is incredibly convenient for home DIY projects. The wider tape works beautifully for shielding broad baseboards, while the thinner rolls are perfect for tight corners and detailed trim work. One thoughtful touch that deserves a mention is the little white starter strip on the inside of each roll. It makes opening a brand-new roll completely frustration-free, saving you from that annoying game of picking at the edge to find the start. The crepe paper texture has just the right amount of flex, and it tears cleanly by hand without bunching up.Application is smooth, and for the most part, it holds a nice clean line. The only minor drawback experienced was a few spots where the tape began to peel back slightly on its own, even after thoroughly cleaning and drying the walls beforehand. Pressing it down firmly a second time usually did the trick, but it is something to keep an eye on if you are working on walls with a bit of texture. For standard trim, glass, and smooth surfaces, it removes cleanly without leaving a sticky residue behind.

We have an older house, and it seems like there's always a small paint project needing to be done every time I turn around. We don't do enough painting that we're professional, or even particularly good at it; so we definitely over-rely on painter's tape to help us avoid running the brush up on the trim or crown molding. This tape works as expected. It's easy to tape up the areas we want to avoid, and comes off without any problem or remaining residue once complete. Nothing life-changing; just works exactly like a good quality painter's tape should.I like that it comes in a pack with 1 inch wide and 2 inch wide rolls. It's nice having different widths for different situations, and this keeps me from having to get two separate packs, while still coming in at a good price for 6 total rolls. This is priced at $23 at the time of writing this review, for the pack that has 3 rolls of 1 inch, and another 3 rolls of 2 inch tape.Works well, good price, and no leftover residue. No complaints.

I do a lot of DIY painting projects around my house, so I go through quite a bit of painter's tape. I've used this set for painting trim, around countertops, mantels, and ceiling fans, and it has performed very well. The tape sticks securely and stays in place while I'm painting, but it also removes cleanly when I'm finished without leaving behind any sticky residue. I was also happy that I didn't have any paint bleed underneath the edges, so the finished paint lines came out nice. The tape itself is somewhat thin, which actually made it easy to reposition if I didn't get it placed exactly where I wanted it the first time. It tears easily and conforms well around edges and corners, making it easy to work with. One of my favorite things about this set is having both the 1-inch and 2-inch rolls. I find myself using the wider tape for larger areas and the narrower tape for tighter spaces and detail work, so it's convenient to have both sizes available instead of buying them separately. For the price, I think this is a good value. The tape performed exactly as I expect a good painter's tape to perform—good adhesion while painting, clean removal afterward, and crisp paint lines. I would definitely use it again for future painting projects.

I just used this for my bathroom and it worked very well. I am not a pro, but it was easy. The 1-inch tape is the secret for the tight corners. I used it for my caulk job and the lines are very clean. Then I used the 2-inch tape for the big walls. It didn't peel off by itself while I was painting, which is good. After I finished, I pulled it off and the wall looked perfect. No sticky mess at all.Having the two sizes together makes a big difference for home stuff. I really like it. Good price for 6 rolls.
