These give exactly the effect I was hoping for. The flickering looks really convincing and gives off that slightly spooky, old-fashioned candlelight feel without being so exaggerated that it looks cheesy.I bought them for decorative lighting, and they’re perfect for Halloween, but I can easily see using them for Christmas or anywhere you want a warm flickering effect. They’re obviously not meant to light up an entire room, but that’s not the point. They create atmosphere, and they do that extremely well.The flickering is absolutely the best part. It looks great in a decorative fixture and instantly makes it feel more interesting. Very happy with these.

I've always loved flickering light bulbs and candles in general, so these were right up my alley. They're cute, and the flame effect is surprisingly effective. The flickering pattern has enough variation to look natural rather than just flashing on and off in an obvious repetitive pattern.The bulbs themselves seem like good quality. They feel solid and well made, and the clear flame-shaped design looks attractive even when they're turned off. Once they're on, the warm flickering light creates a cozy candle-like atmosphere without the inconvenience of an actual flame.These would look especially nice in lantern-style fixtures, sconces, or anywhere the bulb itself is visible and can become part of the effect. The four-pack is also convenient for using several together.Overall, I'm very pleased with them. They provide exactly the kind of warm, flickering ambiance I was hoping for.

There are a lot of flicker bulbs out there. LED flicker bulbs have gotten very popular the last couple of years.Almost every attempt (in my opinion) leaves something to be desired as far as accuracy. I doubt that anyone will ever get the effect "perfect", but some are really good, and some are completely bad.The bulb in this review is another good attempt and has interesting design I have not seen before. I don't know if it is the programming, or if trying to fit an actual random "flame effect" into such a small space as an E26 socket is still a way off, but this bulb has a good representation of a flame. Just not random, it is an obvious repeatable effect which tells you right away it's an electronic imitation. Certainly, it looks better from a distance than studying it up close.The bulb is of reasonable brightness, consistent with the amount of wattage used.I noticed just a bit of RF interference in my camera screen, certainly nothing to worry about.Can't comment on longevity at this point.Good product.

This set of 2 flickering flame bulbs is well priced at 12.99. Flickering flame light bulbs are always Very Expensive and with the old incandescents they rarely lasted through more than a couple of times of use for a party or at Christmas. Now with the new LEDs they definitely last longer and the effect is actually much more realistic! What I like about these particularly is that they have the standard E26 lightbulb base which will fit in most lamps and other standard size sockets. Note that these do not produce much light. These are not for illuminating your room! These provide a nice glowing effect, some ambience and atmosphere. They flicker just right, not in too much of a pattern so that it appears as if a real flame is inside. They stay cool to the touch which is also nice. They are priced comparable to other flame bulbs, in fact these may be a little less expensive. The glass is good quality and thick, not as fragile as you might think. They come individually boxed, so you can use one at a time and safely store the other. I took a little video, but it is difficult to get my phone to show the truly glow that the bulb gives off. It is Much lovelier in person.

These lightbulbs create a dim, flickering light that looks super realistic in my outdoor wall lamps.I have 2 exterior wall lamps (one on each side of the garage). The lamp shades are made from opaque glass. You can’t see the lightbulb details in the daylight, as it’s too blurry to make out anything through the glass.At night you see a very realistic flickering flame. It moves in such a natural way that it really does resemble flame.The lights are very dim.I think these are best to create a certain mood, rather than produce bright light. I probably wouldn’t use them to illuminate a walkway, as they’re too dim.They’re perfect for the location I have them in though.The imitation flame is just so effective. I’m very happy with the lightbulbs.As far as the physical lightbulb, the quality feels good.They both work and look the same in terms of brightness and flicker. I didn’t run into any issues when screwing them into the lamps either.I’m super happy with them.
