Basically exactly what I needed for my portable electric ladder to stabilize it after it was increased in height.The steel is thick but apparently still vulnerable to rough handling, since it had a bend and some powder coat flaking out of the box. But it wasn't the aesthetic I wanted for an indoor used ladder.When dropped down it increases the footprint of the ladder significantly and prevents swaying and tip over.They bolt on easily enough and stay down when extended

I use these outriggers on my Metaltech Baker style 6ft scaffolding and it makes a huge improvement on the stability of the scaffold. The outriggers are made and finished very well and feel very solid. The parts were packaged very good, they were individually wrapped and strapped together in the box. Assembly on the parts was easy and straightforward. Installation onto the scaffolding is quick and easy just line up the holes , insert the pins, and tighten a knob. They fit onto my scaffolding perfectly and securely. Once installed they made a huge difference in stability, especially when I have 2 sections stacked making it much safer. They work good on uneven ground with the adjustable height, although you do need a wrench to adjust the height of the wheels, it would be nice to have some type of hand screw if possible. The wheels on the adjustable outriggers are slightly smaller than the wheels on my scaffold but so far it hasn't been an issue.Overall I feel these are a very good quality addition to my scaffold and with the added safety I feel are worth the price .

Purpose for Product: I have had enough "scaffold surfing", Thinking these will be like training wheels.Product Inspection: You will immediately notice something before opening the box. IT IS HEAVY.Not sure what I was expecting but the heavy box got my attention.The outriggers appear well manufactured- clean finish- solid welds- smooth edgeswith usable pins and tightening knobs.Product Performance: My scaffolding is made by "Franklin". The outrigger U channel fit perfectly- the holeplacement was perfect- I don't mean kinda close- it was perfect in spacing and pin holesizing. Installing the rollers could not be easier. Tightening knob fit and functioned as itshould. Considerable stability is provided.Summary: Not going to give a 5-star review because I feel most things can always be improved. Going with asolid 4 star. Price point seems about fair for what you get.

These are heavy duty and well made scaffold outriggers. In fact they are a bit more sturdy than the scaffold itself. These fit my 6-foot Metaltech baker scaffold perfectly. Installation was very easy. I would recommend getting the outrigger version with the adjustable height feet, as they cost almost the same and let you make sure all caster wheels are solidly on the ground even if you have some uneven ground.These outriggers reach out 12 inches on each side. They noticeably increase the side to side stability of my scaffold.The caster wheels are sturdy and the locking brakes are easier to deploy than the ones on my scaffold.These are as good as you can get, unless you want wider ones. No need to pay more if you are happy with 12 inch outriggers.
