I already own the original name-brand version of these dust barrier poles, so I had a good point of comparison. This kit is clearly a knock-off of that design, but the build quality is better than I expected. The telescoping poles are strong and sturdy, and they extend nice and long, reaching a full 10 feet, which covers most of the ceilings I run into. They lock in place solidly and don't feel flimsy at any height.So far I've only used the poles themselves. I haven't tried the included plastic sheeting or the zipper door yet, so I can't speak to how well those hold up, and that's the main reason I'm holding back the fifth star for now. Based on the poles alone, though, this is a well-made set that should do the job for containing dust on a renovation project.

These 10' dust barrier poles are a fast and convenient way to isolate a specific area for painting or other needs. The lightweight poles extend and lock in place quickly making it super fast to block off an area.The large rectangular platforms at the top of the poles rotate freely around a ball head to adapt to any ceiling configuration and they have a soft rubber-like padding on them to prevent the platforms from marking your ceiling.I'm using them in my photo studio to hold up various backgrounds. They work particularly well when you need to put up a background quickly in a room with a drop ceiling. They're much quicker than using a three-legged lightstand.

This is one of those tools you may only pull out occasionally, but when you actually need it, you will be very glad you own it. The poles are well made, sturdy, and easy to adjust, and the spring loaded design makes it surprisingly quick to create a temporary floor to ceiling barrier without drilling holes or building a temporary wall. The included plastic sheeting and zippers make this a genuinely complete setup, and the zippers are especially useful for creating an actual entrance instead of having to peel back plastic every time you enter the work area and subsequently releasing half the dust you were trying to contain. Everything is straightforward to set up, the poles hold securely, and the rubber contact points protect the floor and ceiling while providing plenty of grip. For remodeling, drywall work, sanding, painting, or any other project that creates an unholy amount of dust, this can save a tremendous amount of cleanup afterward. At around $120, it is not an impulse purchase for something you may only use a few times a year, but one avoided house full of drywall dust will make the price seem pretty reasonable. Well made, easy to use, reusable, and $120 well spent.

This kit made it much easier to contain dust while working on a remodeling project. The poles adjust easily and held the plastic sheeting securely without slipping. Setup didn’t take long, and everything packed back into the carrying bag afterward. Definitely a useful kit for keeping the mess under control.

Very handy for providing an isolated area while working on a water damaged basement. We needed to run an air cleaner for possible mold, and then keep this area separate while replacing drywall and sanding & painting it. The adjustable poles worked Fantastically, adjusting A LARGE variety, which due to our basement area was needed from less than 6' all the way up to over 9 foot. The supplied plastic and tape allowed us to get this done in one step! The removable feet on the extension poles are somewhat cheap with the snap-on clips being very easy to break, not a complete markdown, just something to be cautious about. Overall with everything provided and their asking price, I would vote for this with 4 stars and consider it a fairly good value .

I didn’t need to buy any extra parts to build the dust wall. Everything matches perfectly right out of the box, which saved me valuable time running to hardware stores before my renovation project.

The wide flat top plates create plenty of contact area against ceilings and floors. When I hang heavy plastic dust sheeting, the poles stay upright reliably with no tipping over. There is no damage left on my finished floor or ceiling. It creates a tight dust barrier that effectively stops drywall dust spreading into other rooms during remodeling.
