I like having the color temperature options. i settled on neutral white that works well for security. We wanted to update the lighting on our garage, and for us the biggest difference these made wasn’t simply adding more light. The proportions work particularly well on a garage where a smaller traditional porch light can sometimes look undersized. The matte black, minimalist design has a clean architectural look without being overly decorative.Lighting performance has been very good. Each fixture is rated at 2680 lumens from a 33-watt integrated LED, so there’s plenty of usable light around the garage.The ability to select between 3000K, 4500K and 6000K is especially useful with exterior lighting. We could choose the color temperature that looked best against the house rather than being stuck with whatever LED color was built into the fixture.Brightness is also adjustable from 10% to 100% with the included remote, and the memory function means we don’t have to continually reset everything once we’ve found the combination we like.Installation is hardwired and fairly conventional for this type of exterior fixture. Wow, I haven’t put these up yet, but I’m so impressed with the quality and durable feel of these outdoor lights. The LED portion looks really cool and modern. Looks like these are a simple hardwire install, so that shouldn’t take much time (if you’re familiar with wiring), but if you’re a novice, you can easily follow the instructions for install. It’s very simple. The lights are a nice size for our front area so they don’t look too small or too large. They have a modern flow to them and look impressive.
