First, the good: It's got a LOT of size to it, the doors swing without creaking or groaning, the keypad is responsive and easy to programme. And the dropbox feature is legitimately useful if you're planning on mounting it somewhere to allow people to have limited access to depositing into it. You're also getting a lot of safe for the money, regardless of how secure it is.Now, the bad: The picture is accurate of it right out of the box. That's not dirt, it can't be buffed out, what you're seeing are literally the scuffs on the item brand new. It already looks 4 years old. The metal itself is really thin and an angle grinder is gonna get into it in less than 5 minutes. The deposit door itself, as you open it, has such a huge gap between it and the interior of the safe itself that you could actually fit a grabber tool stick in there with the door open and pluck items out of the safe itself if you really wanted to. Someone petite could probably get their arm in there.Most importantly, the physical key lock (you can't see it in the photo because there's a rubber button covering it) doesn't even use security pins in the lock - it took me less than 15 seconds to pick it with my lockpicks, and I'm not an expert picker.So all in all, my review is this: If you just need something that's "kind of" secure for things that you don't want to just leave lying around, but aren't important enough to spend real money protecting, this safe is a pretty good choice. But if you're at all concerned about a motivated threat actor getting the contents of it, you might want to keep looking.

Decent safe for keeping monetary items or documents secure, the interior bottom of the safe is about 11½x11½x11, so a good amount of room for storage. The drop slot is wide enough to accept items about 10½ inches wide and a few inches thick. You do get a large, sturdy, fireproof and waterproof bag for use in storing cash/checks or documents; it’s wide and deep enough inside that it can hold letter size documents without a need to fold or bend them.The safe isn’t heavy enough (about 36 pounds) to deter someone from just picking it up and taking it, so if you have the ability to secure it to a wall or floor there are 4 pre-drilled holes in the back and 2 pre-drilled holes in the bottom for that purpose.You do have 3 methods (really 2, but 2 variations of the powered one) of opening this safe: key pad (battery powered), hard key, or the key pad again, but powered via a USB-C cable and portable charger if the internal batteries are dead and you can’t locate the key (you do get two keys). This does take 4 AA batteries (not included) and the top right battery doesn’t fully seat at first try, but replacing the plastic cover does result in that battery firmly seating, so not sure if that’s an issue or is as intended.Set up was easy and the instructions were clear and had sufficient detail to guide you through the process. For the cost (under $200 at time of order) this is an adequate small safe that could be suitable for many small businesses or other users; my wife is using this at work (small, local court) to safe keep the money orders and cashiers checks they accept, and for storing a few key documents. They had no difficulty in getting it installed and quickly into operation.

The drop slot is convenient for depositing cash, documents, or other items without needing to open the main compartment each time, making it especially practical for a business setting. The interior provides a good amount of storage space, the construction feels sturdy, and the overall design gives me confidence using it for securing valuables. For the size and functionality, this is a solid safe and has worked exactly as expected. It makes for a great drop box.

We got this drop safe for our auction warehouse. We have life and on line auctions there and can gather a lot of cash during the auctions. Mostly done at night so weDon’t take the cash to the bank drop at night. So we use this safe to keep it till we go the bank.It wasn’t real hard to secure to the floor with the right tools. The safe itself is made well and very secure. You can use a key or the keys pad to open it. The drop part is also easy to use and is also secure. I am glad we got this brand of safe and would be comfortable recommending it to anyone else who wants a good quality safe.

If you need a small quick drop slot safe just to secure your items this will do the job. The safe is not overly sturdy and durable due to the Fairly thin outer metal material that could be cut with various tools for entry. However it does provide a good deterrent to people that are not familiar with or do not have tools to open the safe. The passcodes are easy to set up and reset once entry is gained. The two security keys will need to be some words separately in case the passcodes are forgotten. USB backup in case the batteries go dead so you can still open the safe without having to utilize the security keys. The size is accurate according to the listing and will fit into appropriately sized faces, also consider the opening door and Slot when determining a spot to place the safe. The design is fairly typical of this type of safe. No odd smells or odors. Easy to mount and install either by simply placing in place or using the provided bolts to bolt it to the floor or wall using the provided cutouts. Not waterproof or water resistant at all, so keep that in mind and be sure to store papers and documents in waterproof and or Fireproof secured containers. Not the best value for the money as better safes for better price points can be found.

This safe is substantial in size and feels like a big step up from a typical home safe. There’s lots of room inside, and I really like the non-fishing drop opening for quickly putting things in without having to open the main door.It comes with 2 keys, a USB charging cable for the keypad, mounting bolts for the wall/floor, a fireproof bag, and instructions. The keypad buttons are easy to see and push, and I really like that there are no batteries to replace. The three locking bolts were also impressive, I honestly expected only two.A couple small complaints: the USB cord is pretty short, so I’ll be using a longer one for convenience. It also only comes with four mounting bolts, even though there are six mounting holes, so including six would have made more sense.Overall, this feels sturdy, roomy, and much more substantial than the smaller home safes I’ve used. Very impressed with it so far.

This 2.8 Cu Ft Depository Safe with Drop Slot, Heavy Duty Drop Safe for Business is good to have for important documents like Naturalization of Certificate, Birth Certificates, Marriage certificates, or other important items. The Safe is a little heavy. I like the drop-box for small item that I don't want to open the lock. I like the key-pad, so I don't have to worry not able to find the key. The size is just right. The fire proof bag is a plus to have. The Safe was made from good quality material. The designed was well thought especially the drop box. The value is reasonable for the size, drop box, and electric combination lock & key.

This is definitely more substantial than a small home document safe. The drop slot is especially useful when money or documents need to be deposited without opening the main safe every time, and I like that the design includes protection against someone simply reaching back through the opening.The digital lock makes regular access straightforward, and there's plenty of interior capacity. The included fireproof bag is also a nice addition for documents or other items that could use another layer of protection. It's not super heavy but is bulky.
