This AIDPATH EVO BOOST5 is a heavy piece of equipment that looks like it can handle some serious work. The stainless steel construction gives it a solid feel right out of the box and you can tell it isn't some cheap plastic toy meant for a tiny garden hose. It has a rugged design that feels ready to sit outside in the elements without much fuss.It promises 50 dB noise levels which is about as quiet as a refrigerator. In my experience, this pump runs very smoothly and doesn't have that annoying high pitched whine you get with cheaper variable frequency motors. It maintains a steady pressure even when multiple faucets are running at once. I tested it across different fixtures and the flow stayed consistent without those sudden drops in pressure that usually drive people crazy. The smart features are actually useful instead of being just gimmicks. The app connectivity works well for monitoring how much energy is being used and checking the current status of the pump. It's great to be able to see everything on my phone without having to walk out to the unit. The built-in safety protections like dry-run protection give me peace of mind that the motor won't burn out if the water supply dips.Setting it up was straightforward because of the standard 1 inch ports. It delivers a strong flow rate and plenty of head pressure for larger homes. If you have a multi story house, this thing is built to push water up those extra floors without breaking a sweat. The build quality suggests it will last a long time if you treat it right.Pros:Very quiet operation at 50 dBSolid stainless steel constructionReliable app control for remote monitoringConsistent pressure across multiple outletsDurable enough for outdoor installationCons:Initial setup might require some plumbing knowledge

I’ve only had it for a week but so far it’s been great. We now have great water pressure throughout the house. Hopefully it will work for years to come

A few years ago, I upgraded a noisy jet pump that we use to pressurize the house with an older version of these variable-speed pressure pumps from another company. At the time, it was a great upgrade. The noise level was much lower than the stock “jet” pumps. Pressure was more even since this pump ramps up rather than going from 0 to 100 mph. When I saw these pumps from Aipath, I knew it was time for another upgrade since the electronics have greatly improved over the last 4-5 years. It took me about an hour to pull the old pump and install the new one. Since my old pump was almost identical to the new one, I only needed to move the supply and feed hoses. Startup was flawless. I primed the pump, plugged it in, set the pressure points, and it was done. Pressure seems to be holding, and there are no leaks, thanks to Teflon tape. The big upgrade I like is the SmartLife app that talks to the pump. My old one had a nice display, but being able to look at it on my phone is a worthwhile upgrade, IMHO. I also have a couple of smart bulbs that use this app as their control point. In time, I’d like to investigate whether it can be incorporated into Home Assistant, since the app lets you view power consumption and water temp.In summary, if you have an old jet pump boosting your house water pressure, do yourself a favor and get one of these variable-speed smart pumps. You won’t be disappointed with the purchase. They are quiet, energy-efficient, and easy to use and control, and with plastic and stainless-steel parts instead of cast iron, they should last a long time. The three-year warranty is a big plus, and I hope I do not need to use it. The price is a bit more than a “jet” pump, but I feel it is well worth it and highly recommended.

Thanks for this whole-house water pressure pump! This hefty piece of hardware can go either inside or outside. However, anti-freezing measures need to be taken if it is outside. For example, we use a heat lamp in our well house and that should be fine through the winter. The unit provides some versatility in its application. It can work for a 'shallow well' with a maximum suction lift of up to 26 feet. A solid pipe or vacuum rated pipe should be used so it does not collapse. Similarly for tank support. Making sure an external filter is installed prior to the inlet.Make sure to prime this booster pump before first use, by filling it with water. Using the tool provided if required, the cross marked plug on the front top is the priming plug. While the unit supports a maximum pressure of 92 PSI, 22-92 PSI is the stated range, the MFR recommends around 43 PSI to suit most applications. The device can connect with either WiFi or Bluetooth and uses the 'Smart Life App' which can be downloaded from the usual places. This gives not only control but additional information about what the booster pump is doing, including giving the water temperature, which can be handy to see.Overall, this is a comprehensive booster pump, suiting a wide range of applications, with great support and accessibility. Thanks again!

This booster pump arrived in great shape and felt well built right out of the box. Installation was straightforward for a whole-house unit, and the stainless steel construction gives it a durable, long-lasting feel. The specifications are impressive, with a 1.2 HP motor, adjustable pressure settings, and support for high flow rates. The biggest difference was the water pressure. It boosted the pressure by a very noticeable amount, and showers, faucets, and other fixtures all maintained stronger and more consistent flow. The variable-speed operation works well, and the pump runs much quieter than I expected for something this powerful.I also like the built-in protections and app monitoring features, which add useful functionality without making the pump difficult to use. Considering the performance, build quality, and features, the price feels reasonable compared to similar whole-house booster systems. It does exactly what it is designed to do and has made a clear improvement in everyday water use.

This 1.2 HP pump delivers 26.5 GPM flow and adjustable pressure from 22–92 PSI, suitable for up to 8 faucets across 3 floors. It is unreal the boost in pressure I got, like night and day. Now my shower actually feels like an actual shower! It features wireless app control via the Smart Life App for real-time monitoring of pressure, energy use, and temperature, along with automatic parameter adjustments. Built-in protections include dry-run, overcurrent, and voltage fault shut-offs, and it’s FCC-certified for safety. The stainless steel pump body ensures clean water quality and supports temperatures from 32°F to 167°F, while the plastic housing provides electrical insulation for outdoor use. It runs at 50 dB, is energy-efficient (saves 50% compared to standard pumps), and handles applications like home pressurization, showers, shallow wells, and garden irrigation. It will do all of it just fine. It's a little expensive but the output in pressure is well worth it. I can't hear it all running under my home. Installation was straightforward with the included instructions and includes everything I needed.Pros:- High flow rate (26.5 GPM) and adjustable pressure range- Wireless app control for remote monitoring and adjustments- Built-in safety protections and FCC certification- Energy-efficient with 50% savings over standard pumps- Stainless steel construction for durability and clean water- Suitable for outdoor use and multiple applications- 2-year warranty

We just completed installation of this booster pump at my home in the county where water has somewhat less pressure because of the distance it travels from the main to get all the way up to the house. This booster did a very nice job taking my pressures up to where the whole house is now much more usable. I installed it at the 3/4 Inlet from the main line, before it gets to the split off for hot water through the heater. Interestingly this is also helped hot water reach each faucet and shower much more quickly. It's an easy installation and I had no problems. Very good fit because it takes 1 inch npt going in and out, could be put on a much bigger system than what I have. I have three quarter inch coming in and I just adjusted it with adapters to go up to the 1-in NPT input and receive it from the 1-in NPT output. Very high flow rate everywhere. I actually had to adjust the pressure down slightly which is easy to do on this pump. IT wires in easily and it's small enough that it can go on a shelf or bracket against the wall right where the 3/4 inch Inlet is just about to go into the water heater and splits off. Very powerful pump that is an excellent value to permanently raise whole house water pressure.

This booster pump delivers excellent water pressure and makes a noticeable difference throughout the house. The variable-speed operation keeps the pressure feeling steady instead of surging, and it has had no trouble keeping up when multiple fixtures are being used.Installation was fairly straightforward, and I like the compact design because it does not take up much space. The controls are easy to understand, and the pump responds quickly when water demand starts. My only complaint is the noise. It is a little louder than I expected, especially when the pump ramps up under heavier demand. It is not unbearable, but if it is installed near a living area, you will definitely hear it running.Aside from that, the performance has been excellent. The pressure is strong and consistent, and the pump has worked reliably so far. I would give it 5 stars if it were a little quieter.
