I have used landscape lighting in my front and back yard for over 15 years using various brands of lighting and transformers. Adding a bit of light in the evening makes trees and landscaping really pop and lighting pathways provides both safety to guests and an overall warmth to the home.I have purchased multiple MEIKEE sets, including a similar set to this one that had spotlights vs. path lights. The quality of this set matches the high quality of all of the lights I've purchased from the MEIKEE brand. This set of lights in this kit from MEIKEE comes with everything you need in one kit without having to buy lights, wiring, and a transformer on their own. The down-lit path light is a unique design that lights up a lot of the ground without unnecessarily lighting upwards or being bright in your eye. In other words, the perfect pathway light! The included transformer is 120 watts and each light uses 5 watts, leaving you with significant room for expansion and adding additional lights. The transition of landscape lights from energy consuming halogen to LEDs over the past few years has been a game changer. When I first installed lighting around my house, the typical pathway light was 10W and spotlight was 20W!This kit was able to cover a 40 foot walkway and all the pathway lights cast a nice glow. (Make sure you leave some slack in the cable to allow for moving around the lights!)In all, this is a great landscape lighting set that is expandable, you just may need to buy some more landscape cable. I have found the quality of MEIKEE transformer to be great, performs just as well as the name brands and big box store brands, and the lights are built well with no water issues even during some driving rainstorms.Pros:- All items in a single kit, no need to buy cable separately- Expandable both in terms of cable provided and transformer capacity

After trying quite a few different landscape lights around our property, these have become some of my favorites. The warm white color is beautiful. It's bright enough to highlight our landscaping and pathways without looking harsh or like we're trying to land airplanes in the front yard. It gives everything a soft, high-end glow.My husband and I have become a little obsessed with outdoor lighting, and these fit right into our ever-growing collection. Installation was straightforward, and once they were in place, they instantly made our landscaping look more polished. The included transformer and wire made setup convenient, and the lights have been reliable night after night. They turn on automatically at dusk, which means one less thing for me to remember.I'm starting to think our yard has become our favorite evening hangout spot. We'll walk outside "just to check the lights"... and somehow end up standing there for twenty minutes admiring our handiwork. If you're looking for quality low-voltage landscape lights with a warm, inviting glow, these are absolutely worth considering. Your landscaping will thank you... and your neighbors might suddenly start asking for landscaping advice from you.

These lights are great. Very bright and has a decent coverage of lit area. It gives a nice ambiance to the pathways we placed it on. The assembly and placement was simple, straight forward, and easy. The steaks the set came with are metal and very strong unlike the plastic ones I see others come with. It's hardwired so it's very reliable, you don't have to worry about it going out after a few months like the solar powered garden lights. The design is very modern, minimalist and clean. Made of very durable materials. This is a great product at this price range and feel way more expensive than it actually is.

My Personal Experience:For my walkway, I wanted something substantial and architectural, rather than flimsy accent stakes. Opening the MEIKEE 6-piece kit, I noticed the physical hardware is larger than expected—measuring a full 15 inches tall for the post alone, constructed from sturdy die-cast aluminum with matching metal ground stakes.Value for Money:While the physical construction and transformer/timer/dusk-to-dawn features are solid, the pricing logic was difficult to understand when comparing their other value sets. MEIKEE offers a 12-piece kit of similar design—including double the wire and a 120W transformer—for far less; however, I was unclear on their sizing.Functionality & Real-World Performance:On the test bench, the 80W transformer performed flawlessly. The push-button mode selector toggles smoothly between manual 24H and the 2H/4H/6H timer settings. Covering the photocell sensor triggers the dusk-to-dawn response instantly, driving a warm 2700K beam that spreads a clean 3-foot downward wash without sending eye-level glare up at you. Note: My images have the light shining towards my camera in some pics.Assembly & Installation:Wiring up the driver requires a standard Phillips screwdriver to back out two deep housing screws to access the terminal block. The terminal screws where you attach wire leads may be loose inside; therefore, exercise caution that they don't fall out when you remove the hatch. The 15-inch aluminum post threads smoothly directly into the metal ground stake, though the included 50-foot wire limit will constrain wider layout spacing.Aesthetics & Technical Lighting Performance:The matte black finish and architectural slit design look sharp. The 250-lumen output delivers a rich, warm tone that casts a wide downward arc, making it a great aesthetic fit for pathways and garden entries.Key Features- 15-inch die-cast aluminum bollard housings with threaded base mounts.- Cast aluminum ground stakes for rigid soil installation.- Included 80W photocell-controlled driver and 50-foot 20AWG landscape cable.- 5W 2700K Warm White integrated LEDs (250lm downward beam).Take care.

This is a decent lighting system for a wall powered device. That being said, it does require a good amount of setup to install the stakes and wiring. The wiring needs to be "pierced" with the connectors in order for it to work. I was surprised it is secure and seals it so water cannot get in. One thing is that the instructions could be better though. It is not as straight forward on which wire is which. The video shows them as color codes as shown which it is not so I wasn't sure what is actually power or ground. I am not sure if my guess was right when I did the installation or it does not matter. Regardless it could be better in instructions so be aware of that. The wire provides is really long you do have to install the clips onto the wire. Be aware you really only get one shot at it so make sure it is where you want it to be (measure twice and pierce once). You do get some wiggle room as the wire from the lamp to the wire has some length but once you pierce the wire with the needle it is exposed so it becomes harder to move it without finding a way to secure it (possibly heat shrink tube or electric tape). You do get a big of length on the wire and it is easy to install into the power unit. The performance is not bad and I am impressed by the light. I do like the unique look and it does not require any solar panel to power it. I like that there is a sensor to turn the lights off during the day so you do not have to unplug it or worry about it draining. One thing is that the sensor is the box and not the lights so you have to make sure the sensor is somewhere outdoors. You could also set a timer if you want to do it that way. I recommend you keep the sensor clean and wiped to keep from staying on due to dirt build up. The power unit is not too bad and actually does a decent job providing all the power to all the lights. The actual light unit casing is pretty cool and provides more of a bright than warm color. You can adjust accordingly as this makes very bright compared to other garden lamps. The lighting is not really adjustable and omni directional. The installation process is again a bit tedious as you have to install pretty much everything by hand. There is no real tool provided. The stakes can be tough to tighten onto the light and the wiring part is a bit confusing not being color coded. Also the clips needs to be installed in order as if you put the clip on in the opposite order it cannot actually be attached. The device stays on until morning. It is great for night parties as you get extra lights. It was perfect for keeping the front lit and creating a path near your front door. I love the design and it is one of the most beautiful designs. Overall I do like these lights BUT the instructions need to be better and updated. It is not straight forward even the video provided. It does work well though once you have everything in setup. The wire is water proof and the lights are LED so you do not have to worry about changing any bulbs or such. It survived rain and sun without any issues. The light is quite bright but not blinding and provides a nice path light
