These pliers are straightforward, sturdy, and feel great in hand. They have a satisfying heft to them without feeling awkward or overly bulky, and they feel much more solid than the cheapies, while remaining affordable.The grip is comfortable, the jaws line up properly, and they have worked exactly as expected for everyday household tasks. There is not much more to say: a good pair of pliers should feel reliable and do its job without fuss, and these do.For the quality and solid construction, I think they are a very good value for the price.

Right off the bat these felt like a real shop tool, not a spare pair of pliers I would toss in a drawer and forget about. They are the 10-inch curved jaw style, and mine has some weight to it, right around 15 oz. The chromium-vanadium steel body feels solid in hand, the edges are clean, and the darker finish looks decent next to my older beat-up garage tools. This is very versatile and I have used them often over the past 2 months for various DIY house and garage work (small motor repair, building things, pipe and electrical work) including longer sessions, and the fit in my hand has been comfortable enough that I was not dealing with hand fatigue. So far it is just normal wear. Nothing weird with the finish, jaws, adjustment screw, locking action, or cutter edge.The grip has been the main thing for me. I used them on a round pipe and a couple rounded fasteners, and once I dialed in the screw, the curved jaws clamped down straight without walking off. Being able to lock the pliers in place and let go saved time because I could use both hands for the rest of the job instead of fighting the part the whole time. The release lever popped loose cleanly with gloves on too. I also used the built-in cutter on 12 AWG fencing wire, and it was nice not having to stop and grab another tool. Pipe, rounded fasteners, wire, holding parts steady, they have been a sturdy and versatile set of locking pliers for garage projects.

This seems to be a good set of nice grips. I have used it a few times but only for light work. I am cautiously optimistic that it will hold up on heavier duty work. The opening is adjustable to a large size but works better within the range. It’s always iffy if you work with it at fully open.The grip is hefty and sturdy. It does not feel like it is flimsy and does feel like it will work on heavier duty work.The wire cutter is ok but requires some finesse to get it to work well. It helps when I can never find a wire cutter or stripper to have one as a part of a different tool.It is comparably priced with other 12 inch vice grips and is a lower cost alternative to the name brand tools.

It's also ideal if you need to hold onto objects firmly and tightly without having to constantly grip onto the handles because it locks into place with a lot of force.It's one of those tools that you don't think you need until you start using one and it becomes useful in many applications.I am currently renovating my home and it has been incredibly useful in getting nails/screws into place and locking without having to worry about it falling out of place.The clamps are very durable and does a fantastic job.
