These disco balls are fantastic. They add a little fun for a dance party. The ball is small and light enough to hang from a medium wire command hook- so you can enjoy the fun without damaging the ceiling. Winner!!The mirrors reflected the LED lights well and made a fun patter on the ceiling and walls. The lights arent terribly bright ao you do need a darker room to enjoy these. The remote works as expected and allows you to speed or slow the rotation which is a nice feature.I am not sure these are super durable. The materials definitely arent pro grade (and they wouldn't be at this price) but if youre careful with them they should offer several sessions of fun dancing!

For the price, getting two motors and two balls with remotes is a fair deal. The motors cost about $29 ra on average. If the balls were of better quality I'd give this 5 stars. Mine look a bit shabby since the mirrored pieces have much space in between each one are just haphazardly glued to a Styrofoam ball.😥 Unlike my vintage one from the 80's I still have. But these will let your kids experience the wild disco days of back then and for the cost? A well deserved treat for your children.You will need at least 5 AAA batteries to run this setup cord free. I recommend using the supplied 5v cord if you have a close enough power supply though. The rotating motors will run those batteries down quickly.

Nothing makes light reflect in a room quite like a disco ball. Catching your eyes in different ways. There's lots of little party lights out there, disco balls are a whole different level.The ball itself is a foam ball with lots of mirrors on it. The mirrors make up most of the weight of it. Which considering it is foam, is heavier than it'd appear. That being said it doesn't weigh a whole lot. So it will be pretty easy to hang where you may need to for an impromptu party for a birthday or special event.Controls are easy to use with the remote and do a good job letting you change up the options quickly. You can't be rooms away, so be within a reasonable distance to use the remote, but otherwise it works great.Having two at once lets you change directions and really create some fun effects or have going the same directions but different speeds and it gives a chasing effect.Play with it, incorporate other lighting, and let this be the star of your low level light show and you'll be super happy. Whenever I've looked at disco balls they were too expensive. These, getting two for a better value than you normally can find 1 is an excellent solution.Very fun, and quite mesmerizing.
