The plastic, angle-adjustable roller frame mount should only be used with small frames. I managed to break it (admittedly, I was properly testing it) with just an empty 12” frame attached - Im sure it wouldn’t last long with a fully loaded roller.Fortunately, the actual pole has a solid metal mounting screw so this is still very useful.Otherwise, this pole gets the job done. It is floppy when fully extended, but it’s manageable and will be extremely helpful for last minute fixes after the ladders are all packed up, etc.You get what you pay for, so don’t expect a pro-grade pole, but for the price, it gets the job done and it’s light and easy to store, so you’ll have it when you need it.

I've accumulated quite a few extension poles over the years, but this one has quickly become one of my favorites. It feels well made right out of the box with thicker aluminum tubing than I expected, comfortable foam grips, and sturdy flip-lock clamps that are easy to operate. No matter which section or how many sections I had extended, every lock held securely without slipping, which gave me confidence while using it overhead. It's also surprisingly lightweight, making it comfortable to hold and use for extended periods without feeling overly tiring.The pole itself extends to right around 12 feet, just as advertised. The "16-foot reach" mentioned in the listing is clearly referring to your overall working reach once you add your own height, arm reach, and whatever attachment you're using, such as a paint roller. (So you could technically get 16+). It also collapses down to a compact size that stores easily when not in use.. or if you need to only use it for short reaches.The metal threaded tip is a nice upgrade over plastic, and with the included swivel adapter it should work well with a wide variety of standard threaded attachments like paint rollers, window squeegees, dusters, cobweb brushes, and more. Overall, this feels like a quality extension pole that is lightweight, locks securely, and is versatile.

I got this Gardtech 16 FT Reach Paint Roller Extension Pole to help me paint my house inside and outside, and I like it a lot. I can reach the soffit on our two-story house. It does get a little flimsy when fully extended, but it does the job. Durable and strong. Well made. Great quality. I love the 3-12 FT Aluminum Telescoping Pole. The flip locks work great, and the roller attachment and swivel adapter are very helpful. A little pricey, but I believe it is worth it.

Excellent! This pole is really sturdy and strong, and super extendable, with heavy duty clips that are easy to lock in place. The grip is nice and soft and nonslip as well, and the tip fits easily into my other accessories. It works just as I needed to and will be a lot of help when washing second story windows.

I was hoping for an easier and safer way to paint my walls and ceilings. This product is so useful when you’re painting, especially if you’re short, which I am, it makes a job so much easier and I don’t have to stand on a ladder so it makes it safer as well. I would recommend. With this, I can easily reach the ceilings and the top of the walls so it’s safer and easier now there’s no excuse not to get the painting done. It’s very sturdy. I’m just about completed my hallway already.

The extension pole can adjust from five to twelve fee! It is constructed out of aluminum so it is very light and very strong. It is well constructed and should last a very long time. You have the flexibility to the precise length that you need for the job. For painting you may never need more than the first two extensions, because it would be too difficult to reload the roller, but you could use it for other jobs mentioned on the order page. Length is adjusted with a quick flip of the camp and a tug on the pole section. The screw on top will fit a standard paint roller, but there is an adaptor for a smaller screw and to change the tip angle, for use with different tool tips. The foam grips make this pole really nice to use and they are located just right for shorter extension pole work. If you ever need to use the pole closer to the twelve foot length, you need to hold the pole above the top foam grip for leverage, because of the extra top heavy weight. It would have been nice to have an additional foam grip all the way at the top of the handle for this reason. It is very nice to have all this reach contained in one pole instead of having several separate poles that screw together. One pole that can be used for multiple jobs, and even eliminating the need for a ladder in many situations. Most every home owner could find a use for this product at some point in time.The only negative about this product is the price. There are a lot of comparable pole options available for significantly less money. This is the only reason I did not give it five stars.

I got this paint roller extension pole to paint the ceiling and upper walls in my stairway. Adjusting the length is pretty simple, and the flip locks stayed tight while I was rolling. I didn’t have to keep stopping to readjust the pole or worry about it sliding back down.It extends from 3 to 12 feet, which gave me enough reach to finish the job without moving the ladder every few minutes. There is a little flex when it’s fully extended, which I expected with a pole this long, but it was still easy to control with a regular paint roller.It also folds down to around 3 feet, so storing it in the garage is no problem.
