I bought these 40W equivalent LED Edison style lamps to outfit 3 outdoor light fixtures that I replaced after recently repainting my home. I had initially installed 60W equivalent bulbs, but I they were too bright for my taste, so I decided to try the 40W lamps. They were just right and look great in the light fixtures, especially at a distance. They emit a nice, warm glow that's diffused by the wave glass of the fixtures. Quality of the bulbs seems to be good, with no loose, rattling or poorly attached parts. The lamps arrived well packaged, and there were no broken bulbs. Price was right. Very pleased!

At 2700K they provide a nice warm glow and provide ample light at 500 lumens, sufficient for desk and accent lighting and do not exhibit any flicker. They fit and function as designed, and I have no complaints. Appear to be well-made and durable bulbs, comparable to name-brand products.Cons: None.Verdict: Attractive LED Edison bulbs. At $9.99 for four bulbs (on 7/29/26) these bulbs represent a good value. I'm disappointed that I purchased them for $12.99. Nice size and add a look of elegance to what would otherwise be a plain looking light fixture. 4-Stars for meeting my expectations.

The TJOY store “Vintage Edison LED Light Bulbs, 40W Equivalent E26 Dimmable, 4 Pack | 2700K Warm White, 4W, 500 Lumens, ST58/ST19” are quite good at $10 for four ($2.50 each).These bulbs compare quite well to standard bulbs as shown in my photos. The envelope is glass, which I quite prefer to plastic. Glass is more fragile, but plastic bulbs seem to age poorly, scratch, and somehow (electrostatically?) attract more dust.These are rated 4 watts/500lm, which is equivalent to 40 to 45 watts incandescent. The incandescent appearing in my comparison photos is 60W. Note that “Edison” style bulbs are much longer and wider than standard E26 bulbs.The bulbs are fairly dimmable. They appear to go off somewhere below 20%, but thankfully there is no flickering like with some other brands. At 25% there was light visible, seemingly brighter than the 60W incandescent I was comparing it with. BTW, I used a MP21ZD Minoston / Smart Plug Dimmer for this test, which Gemini tells me uses TRIAC (Triode for Alternating Current) phase-cutting dimmer circuit and assured me that it is the most common type of dimmer as of this writing.TJOY packages their bulbs better than most brands, which just have a cardboard box. TJOY ships the bulbs in an egg-carton clamshell, then into a cardboard box.

These bulbs are very nice. I have an upturned lamp that lights anything on top and it lit my flowers beautifully. (See picture) The bulb did not work with my lamps with clip on shades. The roundness of a regular light bulb keeps the shades on the bulb and this bulb is an oblong shape. In another smaller lamp, the bulb was too long for the space between the top of the metal socket and the metal supports located underneath the frame of the shade. For measurement purposes: From the top of the electrical contact foot (where the glass meets the metal) to the glass tip of these bulbs measures 4” which is a little longer than some non-decorative bulbs. On my Torchiere Floor Lamps, the glass tips of the bulbs showed over the small side shades when it is off. My shade measures 4.72” high, but part of that shade is down below, in the footing underneath the bulb. So, the bulb is slightly higher than this size shade. (See picture) When the bulb is on, it isn’t as noticeable. Also when the bulb is off it has visible yellow strips. When on, these strips provide a beautiful lighting. Packaging of breakable items when ordering on line is always a concern. This box of bulbs arrived in a box with heavier items and was smashed on one end. But, the interior packaging was strong enough to protect the bulbs. All were operational and none were broken.
