Door Lever Door Handle

I picked up this matte black passage lever a couple of weeks ago to replace an outdated brass round knob on our hallway closet, and the visual upgrade was immediate. The square, low-profile trim gives the door a sleek, modern look, and the concealed screw design is a huge plus, since there are no visible fasteners that would ruin the clean aesthetic. The lever itself feels solid in the hand with a smooth, responsive latch mechanism that opens quietly without sticking or rattling.Installation took maybe ten minutes with a standard screwdriver, and reversing the handle for right-hand swing was completely painless. Just make sure to take your time lining up the square backplate completely straight before tightening everything down, as any slight tilt is much more noticeable on a square base than a circular one. For the price, the finish and build quality feel remarkably premium, and it completely transformed the look of the door.

This lock is true to color, great quality and looks fantastic against a bedroom white door. The installation was fairly easy directions provided were easy to follow. The only problem I had was getting the case from around the latch. I had to use a screwdriver instead of the tool that came with it.

I got the non-locking passage version to use on a door with a smart dead bolt. This way the handle's lock couldn't be locked and the smart dead bolt could manage locking and unlocking. This looks very clean once installed. It has no visible screws which most locks don't bother hiding. This fits most standard thickness doors. The latch is also adjustable for different set backs. Installation is simple if you've ever done a door handle before. The only difference with this one is you have covers you pry off the base plates. The covers hide the internal screws that hold the two handles together on the door. The handle has a very nice smooth finish. it pivots smoothly and feels solid when you pull down on it. I find this type of door handle easier to use than a regular round knob. Especially if my hands are full and I can just used my arm or elbow to push the handle.

I bought this for a rental property door that needed a new handle. I love it so much we replaced every handle in the house! They are pretty heavy and easy to install. So much better than a regular knob - especially with artritic hands.

Looks great! Tip: make sure square plate is straight before tightening! We are very happy with this purchase - good quality for the price!

I put this in a rental unit owners closet and thought it was perfect, but I don’t think it’s sturdy enough for front door use exposed to the elements.
