It is a simple matter of aligning the unit through the predrilled holes on the door and tightening down screws. It feels solid in the hand and is built from good materials. Seems like it should prove durable.

I was very excited to find this at such a reasonable price. When it arrived, two parts were missing and there were no instructions. Maybe I received someone else’s return and it wasn’t closely inspected before reselling. Not sure but super bummed. Seems like good quality despite that.

A little tricky for my smaller kids to open from outside (squeeze trigger and pull kinda thing) but so far I love it and my husband installed it really easily. We removed the bottom peg part because I didn’t wanna drill another tiny hole in this door. Works just as well without that piece.

I absolutely love this set. ((I originally purchased brand Kwikset and Soon learned that the handle kept falling off because the functioning pieces within the handle were not soldered on they were loosened and are to be screwed together)) on THIS set. Everything is molded and PRE MADE so you literally just clip it together in the door! Quality is amazing incredible value for the price!! I almost felt bad only paying a 1/4 of what brand charges and this is MUCH better fit.
