The color is the best. Has just enough gradation that it's not too dark. I really like the copper/bronze color that comes through.

They look like the more expensive handles… but can definitely feel the difference. Much stiffer when opening door.

The Upgrade:These replaced the original yellow-brass round knobs that came with the house, and what a difference. They look modern and sharp, and the matte black finish is perfect -- no fingerprints showing like you'd get with a shiny finish.The Install:Straightforward swap with no surprises. Everything needed is in the box and a screwdriver is all it takes.The Feel:Sturdy and solid in your hand. The lever style is a genuine advantage for anyone with arthritis or grip issues. One note: when you release the lever it snaps back fast and firm. Not sure if that mellows with use, but it feels very positive and certain, like it means business.The Function:The privacy lock turns smoothly with no issues. One of these is on a bathroom door, so the humidity resistance is already being put to the test.The One Quirk:If you walk past an open door and your pants pocket is at just the right height, the lever will catch it. i'm going to be replacing all the doorknobs in our home with these. They have a great high-quality feel and when you actuate them they feel so smooth. Installation and hardware go very smoothly, the only issue i run into is the plastic inserts that every one of these companies include are far too deep for the current holes carved in my doors. Aside from that these are a major upgrade for our 85 year old home. I hope the finish lasts and doesnt wear with time though.

A perfect fit and an excellent replacement door lever! These look great throughout the house. The dark matte finish is a nice improvement that compliments both the room and the hallway. The installation was straightforward and very easy. It includes an instruction sheet, but it's really not needed since the fit is very obvious. I love being able to open a door even when my hands are holding something else... and it's very easy to press down with very little effort. The handles are "reversible" so they work whether the door swings left or right. I'd originally installed the handles upside down (curved up) but it was very easy to flip them so that they curved down. (Hint: the little Allen-key set screw should be hidden on the bottom... this gives everything a clean look!) The twist-to-lock privacy lock was a bit stiff at first... but with a few consecutive half-turns (lock/unlock/lock/unlock, etc) it loosened up and everything was quite normal and behaved as expected. The strike plates were also a perfect match in size for the ones I was replacing. The screw holes lined up exactly. Installation took me about 15 minutes for the first door, then 10 minutes each for other doors. After weeks of use, I have not needed to tighten or adjust anything. There's no wobble and the doors latch closed easily every time. I'm very pleased and I'll give this a well deserved five stars.

Nice handles that are relatively easy and straightforward to install. The real test will be how durable they are long-term, but so far (first few weeks) they seem to be good quality and work well.
