I LOVE the look of this shower and tub fixture set! The matte black finish is gorgeous and exactly the style we were wanting. Everything feels nice and substantial, and I especially love the large flat square shower head. The set comes with the shower head, tub spout, handle and the pieces needed to complete the look.We haven’t actually installed it yet, so I can’t speak to how it performs once hooked up—that is 100% my husband’s department because I am nowhere near qualified to start messing with shower plumbing.Based on the quality and appearance straight out of the box, though, I’m really impressed. Giving it 4 stars for now until we can see how everything performs after installation!

Water turns on instantly, shuts off clean, and the knob gives me vastly better temperature and flow control than my old setup. The included rain showerhead is slightly smaller than it looks in some of the stock photos, but it is still much larger than a standard showerhead and gives great, almost full body coverage. If you ever wanted to upgrade to an even larger head down the road, it would be an easy swap, but the included one is already a huge upgrade.For the installation, it accepts 1/2-inch NPT copper pipe with no adapters needed. The copper pipe inserted directly into the brass fittings, and you can solder all connections using lead free solder and flux.I had to draw the entire assembly slightly forward to fit my wall depth, but that was exclusive to my plumbing because my old valve had an extension kit on it. If you are replacing a standard shower valve, you likely won’t have to worry about that.Small detail wise: there is a set screw on the tub spout that clamps onto the copper pipe, and a set screw on the handle that secures it to the plastic valve piece. Hex keys are included for those, but if you are doing a full DIY install yourself, you will need your standard plumbing tools, torch, and solder supplies. If you aren't comfortable with plumbing, hire a pro. Overall, it’s a solid, no frills kit that punches way above its price point.
