Cordless Reciprocating Saw

Won’t purchase expensive Milwaukee hand held power tools anymore. my older batteries would go dead after a few cuts having to recharge all batteries every couple days. Now the Amazon saw cuts smooth and my old Milwaukee batteries have lasted all week and looks like the same charge going into next week. I now have 6 Milwaukee hack saws hanging up on the wall of shame. My coworker uses dewalt. And he loves amazons version too

I haven’t used many reciprocating saws, especially the heavy-duty professional-grade models. But I’ve had several occasions when I needed one and had to borrow a neighbor’s. It was a pleasure to finally have one of my own. It performs perfectly for what I need.As a test, I used it to trim a broken deck board. You can see the results in the photos. It cut through the 2x6 in no time. Strong cutting and easy to manage.I don’t know which jobs might be too demanding for this model, but I’m pretty sure it will meet all of my needs.One of the best features is that it uses a standard DeWalt battery. I already have several cordless tools that use the DeWalt batteries, so I don’t have to maintain a supply of different battery types. That makes a real difference.Strongly recommended.

I’ve used larger corded reciprocating saws before, and what I really like about this SINGTIP is how much smaller and more portable it is. Being able to grab it and make a few cuts without dragging out an extension cord is a big convenience.The brushless motor has plenty of power for typical DIY jobs, and the variable-speed trigger gives good control depending on what I’m cutting. I’ve used it on wood and general household projects, and it handled the work without any issues. The tool-free blade change is also convenient, and the built-in LED is useful when working in darker areas.Another big plus for me is that it uses my existing DeWALT 20V MAX batteries, so I didn’t have to add another battery platform. It comes with several blades, so it’s ready to use right out of the box if you already have a compatible battery.For heavier, continuous demolition work, I’d probably still reach for my larger corded saw, but for quick cuts, DIY projects, pruning, and jobs where portability matters, this is a very handy alternative. The compact size is the biggest selling point for me.

This reciprocating saw is a great size. I have a different battery reciprocating saw that is about 1/3rd bigger than this one. This one I can easily hold with one hand. It is around 12 inches long without a blade or battery. This is a BYOB, bring your own battery, tool and it takes a a DeWalt style battery. In the box you get the Cordless Reciprocating Saw and two packages of blades each package has a wood cutting blade and a metal cutting blade. It is easy to install a blade, in the front is a red quick release style blade changer , just twist it and install a blade. Right behind the red quick release is a small light that helps light up the area you are working on. The trigger switch is under the bump that is on top of the unit and the lock button is there also. On the base where the battery goes there is lights that indicate the speed and charge of the battery.I took the unit outside installed the wood cutting blade and cut off a 2 inch branch from a tree with no issues. I like this unit, easy to hold, appears well built and I get to use my existing battery without having to keep track of another set of batteries with yet another charger, plus you are not having to pay for these items which helps keep this product priced low and a good value. Giving this five stars.

I have used the name brand version of this tool on several jobsites and have been quite impressed with this saw especially considering the price & quality. For $29.99 at time of ordering this is functionally an unbeatable value. It does feel brushless in performance and sounds that way as well while running it and cutting with it. Overall build quality feels barely a hair below the name brand options, but for the price it is really unbeatable and you can't expect exactly OEM quality performance at ~1/6 OEM pricing. Power and performance and good, does not bog down in most cuts. Included blades are nice, but none of them are particularly spectacular quality, they do the job but will not last a long time under real world extended use with tough materials. I am a contractor and use my tools a LOT and we will see how this holds up in the longer run. So far, for several jobs, some pruning, and various demo work it has been working great. The guard has a light roundness to it to allow for some degree of angled cutting but not the pivot style present of most recip saws. Reciprocation cut stroke is respectable and sufficient. Locking cam collar collet works properly and fits all blades I have and have tested. Vibration is not horrible, not fantastic, but you can't get away with no vibration on reciprocating saws. Battery meter on tool is a nice display and feature but it is not the clearest. Trigger control and variable speed is surprisingly good and impressive. Safety throw bar button works properly and is distinct and clear, this one is interesting with a central lock position and active on either side throw. Overall ergonomics are fair and the rubbery over molding provides good grip. Feels to be proper power tool plastic molding and over molding but may not be the hyper tough glass or carbon reinforced infused polymers that top tier brands and utilizing. Has survived several drops so it is plenty durable for the lighter duty jobsite.

I’m not a construction worker, just a stay-at-home mom who loves tackling home improvement and DIY projects, and this reciprocating saw is perfect for me!It’s lightweight enough for me to maneuver easily and hold steady. I used it to cut through some PVC railing for a fence project, and it made super quick work of it. It didn't stall, stutter, or do anything quirky at all, which gave me a lot of confidence considering it was my very first time ever using a reciprocating saw.I don't own the DeWALT battery system myself, so I had to borrow a 20V battery from a neighbor to test it out. It clicked right in smoothly and ran without any issues, but the price of a DeWALT battery and charger is definitely something to keep in mind if you aren't already on their battery platform!Since I'm fairly small, I found that I had to hold the tool down firmly to control the vibration. As long as you keep the material you're cutting clamped down tight, it's very manageable. Changing out blades was super simple, and the included blades cut great, plus it's nice to have spares ready to go for future tasks.If you're looking for an affordable, reliable tool to tackle around-the-house projects, this is an excellent choice!

Here's what I like most about SINGTIP CORDLESS RECIPROCATING SAW as a brand : COMPATIBLE WITH DEWALT BATTERIES! - I gravitate towards a Company and a tool that smartly doesn't demand that I find valuable space on top of my tool bench for a 1 battery, 1 charger, 1 tool, proprietary battery that only works for 1 thing in my life ...this helps this company also maintain lower prices ( this unit is only less than $ 30 )- because they don't have to supply me with a battery(s) and a charger. This means that all this tools power options are clearly within my hands ...I wish every battery tool seller followed this example ......This saw has a brushless motor ( means longer life ) -it gas a 0 to 3500 SPM variable speed .. this Sawzall comes with 8 blades for Wood/ PVC /and metal .. this also has a safety lock , and a variable speed control -I use this to cut up a tree branch that fell during the last storm and it worked perfectly ! It is built for a one handed design ..compact , lightweight , and comes with 4 blades ( wood/ metal/ PVC - Drywall) and branches -and all the blades are a toolless changeout ...

This DeWalt-compatible reciprocating saw is okay. For its size, it has plenty of power. The trigger control is smooth and predictable.The battery connection is firm, and both factory and aftermarket batteries lock in and unlock easily. On the base of the saw, there is a high and low button for speed control. That's pretty handy in certain circumstances and materials where you don't want overspeed to cause damage to the material.There is a safety crossbar on the handle just behind the trigger, but I advise caution in depending on it. It has to remain exactly centered in order to lock out the trigger, so don't make it your main method of rendering the saw safe. When leaving it unattended, or around people unfamiliar with tools, always remove the battery. Moreover, there is no trigger guard, so if it were to fall over with the trigger unlocked, the trigger can be accidentally depressed and that can cause dangerous accidents.There is a small, handy LED work light on the blade into the tool and it works well enough.The blade change out mechanism is very easy to use. The knurled large plastic nut with wings is easy to grasp and rotate, and allows fast and smooth insertion and removal of all standard reciprocating saw blades.Speaking of blades, there are two packs of two types of blades included. So that adds a decent value to this kit.The only thing I really don't like that much about this saw is the blade shoe. It's basically stationary, and doesn't pivot or rotated all. Being that this is supposed to be a compact type tool, it would make sense for the shoe to pivot to allow a wider range of access in confined areas or spaces. But, it's not that big of a deal breaker if you rarely ever find yourself in exceedingly small spaces. But, on the flip side it would be nice if the shoe would pivot so that you could get better initial contact and avoid off hand flutter of material from lack of pressure from improper cutting angle setup.The saw action operates smoothly, and doesn't transmit enough vibration to the hand to cause issues. Overall, the ability to control the saw at variable speeds one-handed is pretty good.The saw is overall fairly lightweight, but still feels robust and capable in the hand. I didn't note any flex within the body during rougher handling, and I expect it to operate properly unless it's really abused.With a 9 amp hour battery, I noted that the saw will stand upright and be fairly stable in that storage position. That's convenient for when you have to set it to the side to move material around or reposition for any reason. You don't have to worry about the tool falling over and either getting damaged or hurting you.
