We used this while remodeling our shower and I’ve been really happy with it. Installation was surprisingly easy and the niche fit into place without giving us any trouble. It did feel a little strange to me at first that it wasn’t screwed or mechanically secured into place but this was mt first time installing this style of shower niche and it hasn’t caused any issues. The matte black finish looks really nice with the rest of our shower and gives it a clean finished look without having to tile the inside. The center shelf is also sturdier than i expected and has no problem holding several full sized bottles. I also like the slight slope because water doesn’t just sit inside of it and the smooth surface makes it really easy to wipe clean. We’ve had no issues with it so far and I honestly don’t have any complaints.

I got this 24x12 inch recessed shower niche to integrate into a custom bathroom build for a new studio space, and the metallurgical engineering is flawless. Constructed from thick 304 stainless steel with a matte white finish, it completely eliminates the tedious, leak-prone process of custom tiling a shelf. The 92-degree sloped base is the true standout feature here; it aggressively forces water to drain outward, completely preventing stagnant puddles and mildew buildup inside the niche. Assembly is easy. But I recommend you hire a professional if you are not handy in the house! The 2-tier design easily accommodates tall, heavy shampoo bottles and thick beard wash. My only installation critique involves the structural framing requirements. Because the flange is relatively narrow, your rough-in framing must be absolutely perfectly square to within a sixteenth of an inch, or the stainless steel lip will not sit flush against your cement board. Other than that, it provides a massive, leak-proof architectural upgrade with an ultra-clean modern aesthetic, made durable and at a value price. This gets my 100% Tried-and-True 5-Star Rating! It also includes a one-year warranty on the finish, which is a nice bonus. It looks exactly as pictured and the dimensions are accurate.One feature I appreciated is the sloped base for drainage. However, the listing mentions a 92-degree slope without clearly indicating which side has the angle. It's easy enough to determine with a level or framing square, but having that marked from the factory would make installation a little simpler.Price-wise, it falls somewhere in the middle of what I've seen. It's more expensive than some basic options but considerably less than many premium brands, and based on the construction quality, it seems like a good value.I haven't permanently installed it yet, so I can't comment on long-term durability or water performance. This is one of those home-improvement items that makes me want to start a bathroom renovation I absolutely did not have scheduled.The niche feels substantial and well made. It’s 304 stainless steel rather than plastic, and the matte black finish gives it a really clean, modern look. At 24 x 12 inches with two separate storage areas, there’s also plenty of room for the unreasonable number of bottles that somehow accumulate in a shower. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash, miscellaneous potion purchased because the internet promised eternal youth—they can all have assigned housing.I REALLY like that the inside is already finished. There’s no need to tile the interior of the niche, which eliminates a whole additional layer of cutting tiny pieces of tile while reconsidering every decision that led to renovating a bathroom.Another thoughtful feature is the slightly sloped bottom. Water is supposed to drain back toward the shower rather than setting up permanent residence underneath the shampoo bottles, which should help with standing water and soap residue.Obviously, this isn't something you casually slap onto the wall with Command strips during halftime—it needs to be properly recessed and installed as part of the shower wall. But as the actual fixture itself goes, I'm impressed. It feels sturdy, the welds and construction look good, and the finished result should look much more intentional than adding another hanging shower caddy.Now I just need to resist staring at the bathroom wall and whispering, “You know what would look really nice right there...”
