Good in the right use

[Color: 12-Inch Fast Pruning, 5-Pack]
These are solid saw blades for smaller pruning jobs. Great for keeping in the truck in case you need to trim back some shrubbery or small trees. Also great for when you want to trim in a tight area and don't want to get out a full sized chainsaw. They go though smaller limbs quickly, and although the cuts can be a bit imprecise with a sawzall, you can do a decent job if you're careful. So far they are staying sharp after an hour or so of use, so overall, a decent value for the price. Just keep them out of the dirt and you'll be fine.

High-quality blade. Good clean cut.

[Color: 12-Inch Fast Pruning, 5-Pack]
I use these to trim trees and shrubs. This blade provides excellent results. A fast, smooth cut with minimal effort. The blade is thick enough to not flex easily and has held up quite well. It fit my Craftsman 20v saw without any problem. I previously used Bosch Edge 12-in 5-TPI Pruning Blades (RP125) with very good results, but these are better. They have less aggressive teeth, but the curve provides better contact with branches. The largest cut I have made was a 5" branch that fell from an Oak tree. It was still living and cut completely through in about 2 minutes. A 5 pack is definitely a good value.

They do the job for smaller trees and branches on larger trees.

Solid pruning blades that actually clear sawdust instead of clogging upSolid pruning blades that ...

[Color: 12-Inch Fast Pruning, 5-Pack, Color: 12-Inch Fast Pruning, 5-Pack]
Picked these up for cutting up some downed branches after storm season and they've held up well. The 6 TPI Japanese tooth pattern rips through green wood fast, and I noticed way less clogging than the cheaper blades I've used before thanks to the deep gullets actually doing their job clearing chips out as you cut.The curved arc design makes a real difference on rounder branches too. Instead of the blade wandering or binding halfway through a cut like straight blades tend to do, it stays engaged and tracks straight, so there's less deflection and a lot less arm fatigue over a long session.I ran these through a mix of green wood, some seasoned firewood, and a few dry dead limbs, and the triple ground teeth kept a clean cut across all of it without needing to force the saw. The CR-V steel seems to be holding an edge fine so far, no visible dulling after a decent amount of use.Five 12-inch blades in the case is a good amount to have on hand, and the case itself keeps them from banging around and dulling each other in a truck bed or tool bag. For anyone doing regular tree trimming or firewood prep, these are a solid buy.

Built to get the job doneBuilt to get the job done

[Color: 12-Inch Fast Pruning, 5-Pack, Color: 12-Inch Fast Pruning, 5-Pack]
These blades are super strong, sharp, and designed to get the job done. Every spring, I must do a fair amount of tree trimming around the house. I have crate and myrtles to trim and several "smaller sized" trees next to the house that have gotten quite large. I normally use a pole trimmer that has a similar blade to this - works great. I also use cordless reciprocating saw that worked okay. I had been using a 5-inch wood blade. I swapped that blade out with one of these and it was cutting through small branches like butter. The angle of these blades are perfect for getting a close cut with plenty of margin with the additional blade length. As mentioned, the blades are sharp. I could quote the all of the fancy tech that makes them work well, but it doesn't really make a difference - they perform great and seem like they are made to last. Overall, I am very happy with these blades, and this price point they are a great buy.

Efficient 12" Arc-Shaped Pruning Blades – Sharp, Rigid, and Fast, Recommended

[Color: 12-Inch Fast Pruning, 5-Pack]
These blades have substantial teeth that are thick enough that I do not worry about them bowing or skipping. We have lots of trees on our property so having good dependable blades to do the pruning is a must. Comes with 5 blades in a pack. The blades are made from premium Chromium-Vanadium (CRV) steel for strength and durability. I was surprised at how much better the curved blade works than my regular straight blade. The curve on the blade is way more efficient than my previous straight blades, the blade does not get trapped in the wood as frequently and it definately cuts faster. Using with my Dewalt 20V reciprocating saw and these blades are doing a fantastic job for me. I will definately order these again and highly recommend them for your use.

Cuts Through Tough Yard Cleanup Jobs

[Color: 12-Inch Fast Pruning, 5-Pack]
These 12 inch pruning blades worked well in a cordless reciprocating saw during a full round of yard cleanup. They handled thick, stubborn branches without getting hung up as often as standard wood blades. The curved edge helped keep the blade engaged with the branch, especially when cutting overhead or working from an awkward angle. The 6 TPI Japanese tooth design cut aggressively and cleared sawdust well. Cuts were not as smooth as those from a fine tooth blade, but these are built for fast pruning rather than finish work. Compared with regular straight reciprocating saw blades, these grabbed rounded branches better and required less pressure to keep the cut moving. The CR V steel flexed enough to handle branch movement without feeling overly flimsy. A blade could still bend if forced sideways, so letting the saw do the work produced the best results. The five pack provides good value for seasonal cleanup since several blades are available when one eventually dulls or gets damaged. The storage case also keeps the long blades protected instead of loose in a toolbox.**Pros**Cuts tough branches quicklyCurved edge stays engaged with rounded woodWorks well with a cordless reciprocating sawFive blades provide solid valueStorage case keeps blades organized**Cons**Cuts are rougher than fine tooth bladesLong blades can flex during angled cutsRequires controlled pressure to avoid bending

Very sharp and aggressive blades

[Color: 12-Inch Fast Pruning, 5-Pack]
These blades seem to be well made and come in a nice plastic storage sheath. Good rigidity. Extremely sharp and very aggressive staggered tooth pattern. The metal composition is said by the maker to be heat treated chrome vanadium (not just lesser high carbon steel) and I can definitely see discoloration on the non-painted portions of the blades that is consistent with heat treatment. They fit well into both of my reciprocating saws without issue. I don't currently have any trees that need trimming, so I trialed them on a stack of old, dry 2x12 boards that I had left over from a recent trailer deck rebuild. They went through these on multiple passes with ease. No sign of loss of sharpness. Do they go through these boards as fast as any of my chain saws- - no. But for what they are, I think they did a very good job. The current listed price seems about consistent with the other merchants on Amazon. Overall, I could not find anything to complain about in assessing these blades and feel they represent a reasonable value.
