Shatterproof S14 LED Outdoor String Light Bulbs for Patio Light

Great standard size E26 base plastic carnival light replacement bulbs.They have a very comfortable warm light at 2200k.They are not particularly bright but great for outdoor areas that have “dark sky light ordinances”I have not noticed any flicker, and none was picked up on my iPhones camera or video.I can’t speak to their dimability or their longevity as of yet.But all in all it’s a ok value for a 30 pack.

I picked up this set of lamps to replace the glass incandescent lamps in the festoon lighting on my patio. It seems that every time there is a storm, one or more lamps get broken. That means I have to pick up tiny bits of clear broken glass from the brick patio. That is a huge safety issue.These lamps are truly shatterproof. The globe is made from a mostly hard, clear plastic. It is thin and has a very slight give to it. I can drop these on the patio and they just bounce.These worked perfectly to replace the old lamps. They have an E26 base which is pretty standard.The price for these lamps was great. They are right around $0.50 each. I will definitely buy these to replace glass festoon lamps in the future.I like the color of the light. It is not too white but not too yellow, either. It provides a nice warm light for the patio that is great for entertaining, but not quite bright enough for reading.I recommend these lamps.

These GvvooHome LED bulbs are a quality plastic bulb that fit the standard E26 base. Its low-profile size and plastic bulb make it ideal for indoor or outdoor use. The light output seems a bit yellow to me (certainly close to the 2200K advertised, but I have no way to measure). If you are replacing only a few bulbs then this could create a color disparity if it doesn't closely match your other bulbs. However, they do produce a low-intensity relaxing illumination; on my meter they used only 0.9W. They look just like mini-Edison bulbs. At less than $1 per bulb (current pricing), these are a good value and a convenient way to replace any missing bulbs in the outdoor patio lighting.

I bought a string of lights at tag sale, but most of the bulbs were missing or burnt out. I decided to give these a try. They are perfect for me. The light is on the glowing yellow side (2200k). Remember you will have 20-40 of these bulbs, so you want them to be dim, since all the lumens add up and nothing is worse than an over lit deck. The blub appears to be made of plastic, so I have no worries about it breaking if it is hit accidently. The lights are also dimmable with a compatible dimmer, which is crazy, since they are already at 1w. I do not have a dimmer yet, but I plan on installing one to allow for just a nice glow when we aren’t actually on the deck.The base is E26, which is a standard light bulb base, and these are designed to standard 120v power (not low voltage). It is 3 3/8” overall in height, while the glass bulb itself is 2 7/16”. These were able to insert into my string sockets, seal the with the base and still make contact with the bottom of the socket. (The bulb doesn’t flare much at the base, allowing it sit down properly.)The $18 price for 24 bulbs is a good value for these and I expect them to last a long time.
