These are solid, heavy-duty self-closing hinges. They come with all the hardware included, which is nice, and the matte black finish looks clean.Just a note: they’re larger than standard door hinges (the center barrel has a bigger diameter) so they didn’t work for mounting my screen door. They would likely be great for a gate or a heavier exterior door though. Tension was easy to adjust.Solid quality overall at a good price.

These are great self closing (or opening!) door hinges. For my home in Texas, the hinges had the exact same hole pattern, so it was a direct drop-in replacement. The included (and required?) screws were a bit 'longer' than my stock screws, so that gave the hinge a bit more bite into the wooden substrate on the frame and door side (but it might make reverting back a bit more difficult -- but nothing wood filler/glue cant solve).I installed this (see the picture and video) on an interior bedroom door. This door is relatively lightweight, and does not 'drag' on the carpet. In my case, using '1' hinge, in the middle with the 3rd spring/tension point allow a slowly but always closing door. I'm very satisfied.The instructions do state that you should mount the hinges "adjustment up" but you can mount them in either direction, jut have to turn the spring tension in the opposite way.At $14.99 they are relatively expensive for a 'hinge', but remember they are springed, and they are relatively heavy duty... so I think the pricing is OK. These will likely last a lifetime. Recommended.

We use self-closing hinges like these regularly in my property management company, and these have been great. The matte black finish matches the standard black door hardware that's popular in newer homes, so they blend in well instead of standing out.For a typical hollow-core interior door, I usually only need one self-closing hinge. On heavier solid-core doors, I'll typically install two. They have plenty of spring tension to pull the door closed so the latch engages without relying on someone to remember to shut it behind them.They're especially useful on doors that need to stay secured, like common areas in rental properties or the door between the garage and the house. It only takes one person with their hands full to leave a door cracked open, and these help make sure it closes and latches every time. Installation was straightforward, the adjustment was simple, and they've worked exactly as expected. Highly recommended.

This set of two self-closing hinges is very well-made, has a nice finish, and fits our need for a self-closing door for the main entrance of our chicken coop. They were easy to install, and the adjustable closure force is a nice feature. Hardware for installation is included, and I like that it has rounded edges, making installation easier, as opposed to having to chisel out corners after routing. They are a good value for the price and quality.

As the title suggests, don't assume (like I incorrectly did) that these would ALSO be soft closing. The description doesn't suggest they are, so this was my own mistake. These will in fact close the door and they are really easy to adjust. They seem well made and heavy duty enough for most applications. Just be aware that if you have no method of slowing the door down at the end of the motion or softening the blow from the door itself, your door will slam shut if you have it set to be strong enough to close and overcome the latch.The little adjustment pins also stick out a bit too far for my liking. They're wedged in so they won't just fall out by themselves, but I would like them to be further in and even flush to prevent any long term issues of losing them.
