Really nice set of hinges. They feel solid and well made, and the satin nickel finish looks clean and matches my existing hardware nicely. Installation was straightforward, and the adjustable tension makes it easy to get the door closing exactly how you want it. Once adjusted, they close the door smoothly and consistently. Good quality hardware and they do exactly what they’re supposed to do.

I found these spring loaded hinges to do a great job of keeping doors closed, even just one is enough to give a door an assertive amount of self closing. They fit in perfect as replacements for my existing hinges. They're very well made, of thick metal with smoothly moving parts. At first I wasn't setting them up right, I tried putting the pin into the various visible holes and it would drop out loosely from any of them, but the trick is to use the included little bar to first torque that inner spring part enough that you see a new hole in the groove, and thats the one you put the pin in. then when you release with the bar, the pin stays in there really well, enough it's tricky to get it back out, so I show how you can do that too ,in the same video. Basically just reverse the process and use the bar to take pressure off the pin, and then it will just drop out easy.

I had a couple of doors in my house that did not behave. One stayed open when I needed it to default to shut, and the other would shut when I needed it open by default. Both issues were likely caused by the frame or house being just slightly out of level. This two-pack solved both of my issues. I was able to add just enough closing force on the one door to have it stay closed, and you can easily adjust this closing force. For the door that I needed to stay open, I just adjusted the spring tension in reverse. These are 3.5-inch hinges which are most likely intended for internal door use, as external doors are usually larger at 4 inches. They fit perfectly into the existing hinge cutouts and matched the original screw hole pattern exactly. The metal has a solid weight to it, and the satin nickel finish is smoothly applied without any blemishes. I accidentally installed one of the units upside down by mistake, but the internal spring mechanism still worked completely fine that way. Here is something you might find helpful: use the included adjustment pin to test the tension increments slowly so you do not over-wind the internal spring during setup.

These hinges are a very economical solution for adding a door-closing function without needing to install a separate latch or closing device. They are designed to replace an existing hinge, making installation fairly simple for most DIY projects. Once installed, you just adjust the retaining pin as directed to set the amount of closing force you need. The hinge mechanism works well and does a good job helping keep doors closed when needed. The materials and finish feel durable, and the hinges operate smoothly without requiring much adjustment. They are a practical option for cabinets, doors, or other areas where you want the door to stay shut more consistently. These hinges are well made, and appear to be durable overall. The brushed nickel finish goes well with my standard hinges, and it fits properly in my door cutout. My only reason for not giving these a full five stars is the size. Compared with a standard hinge, these are noticeably bulkier and more visible after installation. For applications where appearance is important, the larger design may stand out more than a traditional hinge. Overall, though, they are functional, easy to install, and a good value for the price.

These self-closing hinges worked even better than I expected. The spring tension is surprisingly strong; I only needed to replace one hinge on the door, and it was enough to pull the door closed consistently. I originally thought I’d have to install multiple self-closing hinges, but one did the job perfectly.Installation was straightforward since they fit in place of a standard hinge, and adjusting the spring tension was simple using the included adjustment tool and pinned in place. Once dialed in, the door closes smoothly without slamming. The hinges feel heavy-duty and well made with a nice finish that looks great after installation. They’re perfect for doors you don’t want accidentally left open, such as garage, laundry room, basement, or exterior doors which is especially useful with a new puppy or young toddlers. If you’re looking for an easy way to make a door self-closing without adding a bulky door closer, these are an excellent option. Strong, easy to install, adjustable, and effective; I would definitely buy them again.

These hinges are easy to install and feel like solid heavy duty quality. My door needed three of them since all the hinges had to match in size and after replacing the old regular hinges with all three, the door works perfectly. The spring tension is simple to adjust using the included tools and pins; it took just a moment to fine‑tune. Good value overall; just make sure your door is compatible with 3.5 inch hinges. Best used for bathroom doors, closets, or entry doors where a smooth self‑closing action is helpful.
