Bathroom Exhaust Fan without Light

I installed this exhaust fan in a bathroom where I wanted better moisture and odor control, and the 110 CFM airflow does a good job clearing steam after a shower. It runs noticeably quietly at 0.7 sones, so I don’t feel like I’m dealing with the loud roar that some older bathroom fans produce. I also like the DC motor because the fan feels efficient while still providing strong airflow, and the lightweight housing makes it fairly straightforward to handle during installation. The included ducting, clamp, check valve, screws, and other hardware are convenient because I didn’t have to track down a bunch of additional pieces before getting started. The check valve is a nice detail because it helps prevent outside air from flowing back through the duct when the fan isn’t running. I appreciate that the panel can be removed for cleaning as well, since bathroom exhaust fans inevitably collect dust over time.

Like others said this unit has allot of plastic except the fan motor and cover springs. Kinda loud, and wiring instructions are non existent, no brace included so you have to hang it with sheet metal screws in drywall unless you have appropriate joist spacing

I feel like bathroom fans are something you really do not notice until they are very loud and noisey. The plastic typically starts getting a yellow tint and looks ugly after a few years of use. They also collect dust and can be hard to clean. I feel like this may be the same type of issues, but the design of the cover makes it look a lot more attractive than most exhaust fans.The only real negative I had putting this in was the amount of plastic this is made of. It says water resistant but I still have concerns of how well it will hold up to years of use. But really if it holds up then I suppose I can't complain at all.On the positive side of things, this thing is pretty quiet. It does at least have some noise which can be a nice thing when using a bathroom to disguise other noises happening. It also was very easy to install. If you have installed an exhaust fan before then it is pretty much a drop in replacement. I installed this in a smaller half bath and I don't thing there will be any issues with being able to vent quickly and effectivly. And lastly I thing it is a really good price considering how much other name brand companies charge for something similar.Overall I am very happy getting this. It is relativly quiet and feels plenty powerful enough. It also has a really nice look to the cover that is minimal and simplistic. I also feel like with how the vent cover is designed, it will gdo a better job keeping dust off of it or at least obscuring it to a degree. Overall very happy with this and I hope it can hold up long term!

I love this exhaust fan. My bathroom is on the upper end of "medium". And this exhaust fan is sized in CFM for a "large" bathroom. But paired with the special remote-controlled fan-light I also installed at the same time, all the humidity in the bathroom is gone in just a few minutes even after the longest hottest shower. The noise level is... well, it's a fan. It makes noise to move air. If it was silent, that would mean it's not running. I did have to shave a little off my existing mounting hole for this one to fit. It was probably 1/8-1/2" bigger than my old exhaust fan on one side.

This fan replaces a VERY noisy Broan fan. I wanted to replace it with a good quality, known brand, but those were all too expensive. And when I unboxed this one I was not very impressed with the material quality (it’s ALL plastic, and the one it replaced was sturdy galvanized steel), but I went ahead and installed it anyway.The most difficult part of the installation was getting the old fan out of the ceiling opening— this one fit perfectly in its place. I’m very pleased with the noise level, which is the problem I wanted to solve with it. It remains to be seen how long this will last.The built-in LED light is plenty bright enough for my bathroom so no complaints there.Installation note: This fan has a 4” exhaust port but the flexible exhaust hose going up through my attic space is 3”, so I had to buy a reducer and some aluminum vent tape (which cost an additional $10) to install it properly.
