This 5 tier black corduroy pendant lamp crosses over between modern and retro. The design and material harken back to an era gone by but the vibe this lamp gives off is modern!Its unique 5 layer shape is interesting to look at and at the same time, it diffuses the light between the layers. It uses an e26 bulb, the color temperature of which can be changed to your preference.We installed this in the corner of our bar and the wired installation was straightforward as any typical wired installation and it came with all of the necessary hardware. The cord is plenty lengthy and allows for precise hanging to suit your needs. The fixture itself is only 13” across and is very lightweight.At an $80 price point, this light fixture is a great value and is priced lower than similar lamps.

I was perusing the internet looking for a particular design in a pendant light for a small hallway that goes from an open concept kitchen and living room to the back rooms for the bedroom and bathroom in a rental unit I own. When I saw this one, I was very intrigued because it was made with a layered corduroy. The size seemed perfect as this was a small hallway, narrow and the ceiling about 8 feet high.When I received this AUQUEE light it was a bit intimidating but once I saw the included instructions on installation, I felt a little better proceeding without a professional to hook it up!This install is similar to any other light fixture and having some experience I knew that a lot of the work has to do with how the existing wire connections and electrical box are. While this has little to do with the product it does have a lot to do with how the installation will go. This needs a fairly standard size electrical box with at least a box where holes line up correctly to install the mounting plate!Luckily ours had a fairly new constructed box and the old fixture had the standard wiring with no confusing connections and additional wiring to make things difficult!Following the directions, you simply need to attach the mounting plate, get the wiring right and follow the rest f the assembly instructions.Once everything was up and the light tested it looked absolutely fabulous and had such a perfect warm glow to it with the corduroy really standing out as the design feature that made all the difference.Extremely lightweight and optional ceiling (slop or slanted) mounting capabilities make it very suitable for a number of applications and locations. The light itself has decent quality housing ad components. I wouldn't say they are the best but for the cost and my situation it is good enough. What it does have is good stability once hung up and that is what matters more to me than the quality of the housing.Theres good value for the cost with this light as it's easy to see how unique it is and different it appears than many others. The design and illumination speak for itself, and we are very happy with the overall appearance and its functionality!
