This lamp is perfect because of its size. It's not too big, but big enough. I have it in my daughter's room by her reading couch. It doesn't overpower her room because it's not too big, but it's big enough to not look too small either. I really like it, especially how the base is heavy and makes everything feel sturdy.

I put this lamp next to my usual spot on the couch where I like to read, and it works great there. The curved design brings the light right over my chair, and I can adjust the light depending on whether I'm reading or just relaxing. I really like that it came with the LED lightbulb too, so there was nothing extra I needed to buy. It was easy to assemble and feels sturdy and good quality. The foot pedal on/off switch is especially convenient since I can just tap it with my foot instead of reaching around for a switch. The remote is nice for adjusting the brightness and light color from the couch. I also really like the walnut and gold look. It's a nice looking lamp, a good price and fits my living room really well.

Nice lamp that is very easy to assemble (foam packaging is kind of annoying), the base is nice and heavy, the shade is one of those ones that velcro together but it looks nice and the lighting it provides is good as well. I liked the tilted design feature as well, great for a corner in a living room or in a reading area.

This lamp requires simple assembly and it's ready to go in about 10 to 15 minutes. It's pre-wired and the most time consuming part is to assemble the shade. My one complaint is that it isn't perfectly round once slipped onto the frame but it's only noticeable very close up. The "walnut" is actually printed on the metal which is great because it keeps the price down and the remote is magnetic! I got excited about that. It comes with batteries and a bulb so everything you need to be operational within minutes. I did the remote last and was surprised to find a pair of white gloves included in the remote wrapping. Odd. Anyway, the lamp also has a stop on/off button which needs to be on before using the remote (which they tell you). It has several presets, color temperature options and dimming settings. 💡 I have a ginormous sectional couch we refer to as the big, comfy couch. The kind that swallows you up. Once you’ve crawled onto it, it’s gonna take some effort to climb back out. We leave about a foot of clearance behind it for the air vents, and to give us space to put a floor lamp. Except, we’ve always had to climb up and over the couch to turn on the light. Consequently, the light collects dust, and rarely gets used. Imagine how delighted I was to order this remote controlled lamp!💡 Assembly was a little bit tricky, as the heavy base needs to be held perfectly perpendicular with the heavy pole to align properly. While not exactly making it a two person assembly, it was definitely easier to get the two pieces to screw together properly with both my husband and I working together. Also, the lamp shade comes rolled up. To create the shade shape, it clips to the top and bottom rings, and then velcros together along the seam. That’s a new one for me, but it works and looks absolutely fine.💡 The light comes with a bulb and a remote (2-AAA batteries included) . Note: The bulb is actually paired with the remote, so no other bulb will work with the remote. The lamp can be used with either the floor button or the remote control. Using the remote, you can choose cool white, warm white, or natural white light; you can increase or decrease brightness; and/or set a timer to turn off the light in an hour. The bulb retains the last setting when turning it on again.💡 Additional info: the power cord is a nice 7’ long, and the shade pivots to adjust the direction of light.💡 This is an attractive, versatile lamp and it’s only taken one evening for me to appreciate having that back corner easily illuminated for the first time in a very long time.

I am so impressed with this lamp. It looks really elegant and high end in person and fits perfectly in the corner of our living room. I assembled it myself in about 10 minutes which was way easier than I expected for a lamp this substantial looking. Really looks like it came from a high end interior decor store.It is really heavy duty and feels really well made and sturdy, no wobbling at all once assembled and the base is really solid. It is not real wood but you honestly would not know that looking at it, it is beautiful and really convincing.The remote is such a great feature, especially since we have it in a corner and being able to turn it on and off and adjust the brightness and color temperature without walking across the room is so convenient. The fact that it came with batteries already included was a nice bonus. The LED bulb also means it does not get hot which I really appreciate.The lampshade is adjustable so you can angle it however you need which is a really practical detail. The lampshade itself came rolled up and was so easy to assemble- I have never put one together like that and I thought it was pretty cool.I love this lamp so much I am already thinking about getting more for other rooms in the house.

This is an absolutely gorgeous floor lamp, probably my favorite one I’ve gotten from Amazon. It comes almost entirely assembled, with just the pole needing to be fully connected by screwing a couple bars together and the lamp shade assembled by wrapping the linen, so they couldn’t have made setup any easier for you. Once assembled it is a beautiful lamp with a gold base and dark, substantially weighted wood with gold accent rings scattered between wood pieces, a gold arm that rises and curves to the lampshade which is attached by means of a swivel that allows you to move and adjust the lampshade and light almost anywhere you may want to direct the light to. The light itself is also a fully adjustable and can go from very dim to quite bright and from a blueish cool tone to a warm pale burnt orange. Better yet, these lighting features (as well as a timer with various time increments, etc.) can be accessed through the included remote control which makes adjusting the lamp incredibly easy. It just looks and feels of quality and gives off a classy retro vibe reminiscent of Mad Men and the like. I absolutely love it and highly recommend it.

I got this because I wanted a floor lamp that would add some warmth to the room without looking overly modern or industrial. The walnut and gold combination has a nice mid-century look, and the linen shade softens the light.At 62.6 inches tall, it provides good height next to a sofa, bed, or desk. The curved design also helps direct the light over the area instead of having the bulb sit directly above the base.The included 9W LED bulb and remote are a nice bonus. Being able to adjust the lighting without getting up is especially convenient at night.
